THE Networking Hub, a free business-to-business networking event, has been launched by Basepoint Exeter.
The first meeting was deemed to be "a great success" with approximately 55 local business people in attendance.
The key speakers at the event were thebestof Exeter members Des Smith of DPS Consulting and Andy McCreadie from Sandler Training, who delivered a positive messages on strategy and sales. The Networking Hub will be held quarterly at Basepoint Exeter, giving local businesses the opportunity to network, meet new people, and generate business. Each event will have a key speaker presenting to the members on business ideas and best practice guides.
Darren Rogers, Basepoint Exeter's centre manager, said: "We were thrilled to see such a good turnout for The Networking Hub – the event has been successful in other Basepoint centres so I am glad we have been able to emulate that success here. Networking is important for small businesses and events like this are a great way to meet other business people."
