Donovan – Exeter Corn Exchange
20th October 2015

Donovan has been performing for more than 50 years.  His eclectic and distinctive style which draws from jazz, pop, psychedelia and world music has been displayed on hits such as ‘Catch the Wind’, ‘Colours’, ‘Sunshine Superman’ and ‘Mellow Yellow’.

He famously taught John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison to finger pick the guitar on their trip to India to study Transcendental Meditation and has also been cited as an influence by such as Led Zeppelin and Belle and Sebastian.  He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2014.

This really is a chance to see a folk rock legend performing live in Exeter.

Tickets for the Corn Exchange show, priced £29 (including £1 booking fee), are on sale from the venue box office on 01392 665938 or online at exeter.gov.uk/cornexchange
