Development Brief for South West Alphington
12th February 2014
... Comments

Exeter City Council is asking local people to contribute their ideas on the design of a new housing development on land to the south west of Alphington.

The City Council has already identified the area as suitable for new homes to help meet housing needs in Exeter. The homes will contribute towards the total number of 12,000 required in the city by 2026.

The draft Development Brief provides detailed guidance to those involved in planning and designing any new development at the site.  It also provides those with an interest in the project, whether they are neighbours, local residents or other interested parties, with guidance on the issues that can be considered during the planning process.

The consultation, which runs from Thursday (13 February) until 28 March, will help finalise the way the development will look.

Copies of the draft Development Brief and supporting documents are also available for inspection at the City Council's Customer Service Centre in Paris Street, Exeter, between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday-Friday.

For further information, a copy of the draft Development Brief or to make a representation, contact City Development, Exeter City Council, Civic Centre, Paris Street, Exeter EX1 1NN, telephone: 01392 265283
