Very exciting! thebestof Exeter business member, Jennifer Riach of MECA Services (the only lady-owned garage in Exeter), whose feature is http://bit.ly/b8OO78, was visited by none-other than David Cameron this morning!
Evidently he's in Exeter supporting Conservative candidate, Hannah Foster, and he wanted to speak to a small business owner.
Great choice, Mr. Cameron, because Jennifer is a great representative for Exeter's local business community and our fantastic independent traders.
Let's hope that whatever political party wins the next election that the government supports local small businesses wholeheartedly, because we need all the help we can get!
Well done to our Jenn for being the voice for Exeter small businesses - and thank you, Dave Cameron, for choosing such a worthy spokesperson, um spokeswoman.
By the way, Jennifer is climbing Mt. Kilamanjaro next year to raise money for Sparks Children's Charity (another thebestof Exeter member). You can see more on http://bit.ly/duG15Q.
