Exeter Leukaemia Fund have taken a leaf out of well-known TV presenter Kirstie Allsoppâs book and refreshed the ELF shop in Crediton without spending a single penny! The new shop manager, Julie King, has given the shop a new fresh and vibrant look and made it easier to find all sorts of wonderful pre-loved goodies. Julie said "Our aim is to give the shopper a relaxing environment to shop in. I hope we have achieved this with ambient lighting, soft music and a very warm welcome. Because we didnât want to spend any money on it we have made the transformation over a period of as many weeks as we could but it is now finished and we are looking forward to finding out what people think. We are also so fortunate that the quality of our donations is exceptional. The range is very ecletic; from vintage clothing to modern homeware and everything in between. All electrical items are tested before going on sale. We try to keep the prices as low as possible. Everyone loves a bargain!" Julie also commented, âI also count my blessings that I have my fabulous assistant and a solid team of volunteers supporting me daily. They bring with them lifetime experience and terrific humour which enhances the whole atmosphere of the shop."

If you would like to donate goods please take them to the shop. For larger amounts or more information about ELF please call the ELF Centre on 01392 247725 or email enquire@elfcharity.org.uk.
