Exeter City Council is running a Maximising your Food Hygiene Rating session on Wednesday (10 December) from 10am to 12pm. The cost of the session is £10 per delegate.

The session is aimed at new food businesses but also those who want to improve their food rating score.

Delegates will find out how to comply with food hygiene legislation.

Topics covered will be:

* Completing the Safer Food Better Business Pack
* What we look for when inspect your business
* Good and bad hygiene practice with photo examples
* Discussion time for any questions
* How to get a rating of 5

Attendance on the training will not guarantee an improved food hygiene rating, but if delegates put the training into practise at their workplace then they will have an excellent chance of an improved rating!

There is no examination but all candidates who attend will get a certificate of attendance.
