The Maynard School in Exeter is hosting the next concert in the popular Maynard Concert Series, this time by flautist Daniel Pailthorpe.

Daniel will be performing on Saturday 11 June at 8pm (with a champagne reception at 7.30pm).

Co-principal flautist of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and famous for playing a wooden flute, Daniel Pailthorpe is equally at home as a chamber musician and orchestral player. Daniel will present a specially chosen programme of flute classics from Bach and Mozart to Ravel, Poulenc and Stravinsky – with a surprise or two en route!

Tickets for the concerts cost £15 each (£7.50 for students) and include a champagne Reception before the concert. All tickets can be purchased from the Maynard Marketing Office – please call 01392 273417 or email marketing@maynard.co.uk. Any funds raised from the ticket sales will go towards funding The Maynard’s music scholarship programme to enable talented students a place at the school.
