Artists - new members of thebestof Exeter

My colleague, Katherine Lacey (thebestof Exeter Membership Manager) and I had a lovely week last week - as usual.

What was a bit unusual was that our two newest members of thebestof Exeter are artists. These are:

Barbara Clift, a well respected artist who works with willow - with an impressive portfolio, including working with Gardeners' World and contributing to a book by Kim Wilde. She also produced the Slow Food snail that many will have seen. If you're interested in a willow creation - for your garden, a wedding, special gift etc, please give Barbara a ring on 01884 266358.

Our second artist member is Veronica Gosling who owns and runs the art gallery Gallery 36 on Denmark Road (right next to another tbo Exeter member, Holmedale Health). Veronica's house and garden is actually the art gallery - and you need to see it to believe it! There are so many fantastic pieces to look at - paintings, decorated pottery, sculpture - with character, imagination and a fanciful, quirky take! The gallery is open by appointment only. Just give her a ring on 01392 256206. See the website on www.gallery36.co.uk.

Soon the features will be online on thebestof Exeter, so watch this space.
