Several thousand people of all ages enjoyed the attractions at Bicton College’s Open Day and Country Fair on Saturday.
There was horse boarding, (travelling behind a horse on a skateboard) wheelbarrow racing, kayaking and a leaf blower assault course. Visitors could also enjoy meeting the Bicton baby animals, watch sheep shearing and take the tractor driving challenge.
The Adventure Zone was packed with activities including a zip wire, a climbing wall, a mountain bike course, a low ropes course, a river crossing and canoeing on the lake.
Event organiser Jessica Oates said ‘It’s a really good family event that grows in popularity year on year. It’s a great opportunity for students and staff to show off what they can do and what the college is all about.’
