Do something different this Saturday 11th June!

Horse boarding, kayaking and wheelbarrow racing are just a few of the activities on offer at the Bicton College Open Day and Country Fair from 11am right through to 6pm., so why not bring the whole family along.

Older children and teens are sure to be thrilled by the Adventure Zone with activities such as zip wire, climbing wall, mountain bike course, low ropes course, river crossing and overnight camp challenge and even canoeing on the lake. The younger visitors will love the bouncy castle, face painting and tractor and trailer rides around the grounds.

Event Organiser Jessica Oates said, ‘The event is crammed full with lots of fun things to see and do, it’s a great day out for all the family. If you know anyone who is thinking about what to do post GCSE's, bring them along to have a taste of our exciting action packed courses. There’s something for everyone, whatever their age or interest.’

There's entertainment throughout the day including show jumping demonstrations, wheelbarrow races and even a leaf blower assault course. Add demonstrations in green woodworking, jewellery making, willow weaving and floristry, the chance to stroll in the beautiful gardens, plus a Street Market selling crafts, food and plants, and there's plenty to keep the grown ups busy too.

The Bicton House Wedding Fair is offering 5% off events booked on the day; and when you need some refreshment there's the E3 cafe plus cream teas, ice cream, hog roasts and more delicious choices. Dogs are welcome, on a lead, and can enter the family dog show. Visitors can meet the Bicton baby animals, watch sheep shearingand take the tractor driving challenge.

There's plenty of fun for the whole family and entry is just £5 for Adults with children (over 4 years) £2.50, while a Family Ticket is just £12 (2 Adults and 2 Children).
