Indian street food and punjabi dishes a speciality, so not a bang standard bengali Indian. They do all the usual suspects though in terms of madras jalfrezi tandoori etc. Different dishes you can taste the different flavour profiles, which to me shows it isnt all a basic masala type set up.<br>Manager oozes genuine warmth, friendliness and professionalism. Well recommended. I will be back for sure.

Went for the meat Thali, we nice because they were happy to change the lamb dish for chicken at request, was very filling and with a good variety of dishes. I would deffinatly order it again however would like to try the main dishes next time. The only gripe I have is the poppadoms were served with a watery mango sauce not a chutney which was a shame and the raiti style sauce was also lacking in substance, there was also no lime pickle or chilli variants. This is a shame because when you go to an authentic Indian restaurant you want that spice to be there.<br><br>I understand you cater for an English pallet but I think maybe just warn customers before they eat and let them enjoy the adventure, all in all not bad but with some minor tweaks it could be a real hot spot for an Indian restaurant.

So glad we chose to eat at Tuk Tuk. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lots of choices on the menu to choose from. I decided to go with the meat Thali which was a selection of 2 chicken,1 lamb, rice, Dal, potatoes, nan bread and a samosa. Everything was excellent and the lamb was tender which was a bonus as it can be a bit chewy most of the time. Prices are reasonable. It did get very busy so it's recommended to book a table beforehand.

We had a amazing meal here. My husband had the seafood Thali and I had the Vegetarian Thali. The food was freshly cooked and really tasty. The people were all very friendly. I was visiting Eastbourne for a few days but if I lived there I would be dining at this restaurant all the time. Seems popular place to eat.

In my opinion the best Indian restaurant in Eastbourne, the best Indian mutton curry I have ever tasted eaten with a proper paratha. Delicious!!!

A group of 11 of us dined here and thoroughly recommend Tuk Tuk. Great food, friendly service and beautiful, unique decor. Will definitely visit again if we come to Eastbourne.
