Went here around 5.30 on Sunday ,liked the look of the menu as it had some nice sounding dishes . It advertises it self as Indian Street food which I'm afraid it does not come close to compared to what I've had in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
The restaurant is clean and the service and staff was friendly. The food its self whilst not bad was very bland and over priced. Best value was the red wine at £14.95 a bottle. I had the seafood tharli at £13.95 and found it very disappointing. I think the best the best way to describe the place would be a sort of Indian meets Mac Donald's.
I say again not bad just disappointing.

Came across this place by chance when visiting the Airshow and needing some lunch. Had a vegetarian Thali which was brilliant, really tasty and authentic. So pleased to find this place, but wish there were other branches near where I live! I would visit regularly! Recommended highly. Loved it.

We ate here on a Saturday evening at around 7pm. The place was quite busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. We love South Indian food and have had Thali before so we ordered a Meat Thali and a Seafood one. I was surprised that neither Thali came with a vegetable side dish. The seafood Thali had 3 seafood sides of calamari, fishcake and prawns but only 1 curry. The meat had one samosa side and 3 curries. It was good that we could share the 2 as otherwise both Thalis lacked balance. The food was tasty but the curries needed vegetables to soak up the rich sauces. I have also had better value food in central London in terms of portions offered. Service could have been better. It took 15 mins for the waiter to come back for our order once we had ordered drinks. This may be to get people to drink more. My husband had finished his beer before we ordered food. All beer only comes in 300ml cans, unusual for an Indian restaurant. Once we had received the bill, it took ages for the waiter to come back for the payment. Why not take the payment straight away? I was looking forward to eating here as the concept of serving street food was interesting.I hope they review their menu and improve their service. Providing large bottles of beer or draft beer would also improve the dining experience.

Really tasty Indian Street food served by cheerful staff in buzzy cafe-style surroundings. We had tandoori mix of chicken and lamb koftas, a delicious chana puri and mixed lentils with nan. Only disappointment was the keralan fish cakes which were bland, not enough fish or spicing.

High on Trip Advisor ratings is this gem. If you love Indian and tapas format it's great. We had six small dishes and great tastes. Two were small curries and the others samosas and pieces. Makes a change from big dishes.

We had a meat thali, tandoori mix and a prawn curry and some extras between four. It was just the right amount of food. The service was attentive without being over powering and the food was delicious.

Such a cool place!! Staff attentive & friendly, sociable & chilled environment. The food. Wow - little plates of edible fireworks!! Tasty, authentic and cooked with skill. Everything was so nice that we had to order more...!! Really impressed with the kids meals too. Lovely place. Loads of choice to suit spice lovers as well as the less adventurous palates. Oddly, the burger with Bombay spices was one of our favourite things!! And the squid. And the tikka. Oh but the garlic naan...

You order a bunch of small portions and share. Ordered the dosa, prawns, mutton curry, korma, sag paneer, parata and rice. Enough for two. £30. Never been to Mumbai but food tasted authentic (!) and very different from what you'd get at a typical curry house in the U.K. Would go again

Looking for somewhere a "bit different" in Eastbourne (ie in relation to ubiquitous Italian restaurants) and having very limited time, I thought I'd try Tuk Tuk. And wasn't disappointed. The usual Indian fare is offered here and is nicely spiced and presented. Indeed, it's appropriate that the food and beer is presented in traditional stainless steel dishes used by ordinary Indian folk. And it’s notable that the prices are also pitched at "street" levels. So, it's possible to enjoy a curry, rice and beer for a tenner - and I can’t think of anywhere else other than in the sub-continent itself that one can do that! I was looking for a tasty meal served promptly without fuss - and Tuk Tuk did exactly that.

Love the fact you can get Indian Coca-Cola (Yum Yum) and excellent Lassi. Tasty Tapas style menu of Indian dishes, really tasty mutton curry, although I was slightly disappointed in the breads. Great service and really nice ambience in the restaurant, Will definitely be going back with friends!

I had the lunchtime vegetarian thali special which included a mix of curries, with rice, dal, nan bread and also a dessert and lassi included in the price. Food was tasty - aromatic and subtle. Nice simple clean restaurant with friendly service.

Soooo good Indian street food here. A really nice welcome when you arrive. The (presume) manager/owner is a really friendly guy. The staff are attentive and not at all over-bearing. And the food is just heavenly! It getsvery busy - quite understandably. This will be a first stop when we next come to Eastbourne!

This is Indian food. No rubbish Anglicised versions-just an actual taste of India. This even caters specifically for children and the manager (possibly the owner) is really helpful in advising which foods would be suitable for young tastebuds (the prawn curry was perfect for our three year old). The thali is incredible, as are all of the other tapas style dishes. Just wish we had one in our hometown.
Great service and an informal, yet interesting venue.

My husband and I have eaten here twice and would recommend. He likes to try lots of different foods and this was right up his street. He chose 4 dishes and I had the tandoori platter. All beautifully cooked and very tasty. Also very good value for money.
