Today I had one of The Rosy Lee's legendary cooked breakfasts and it absolutely lived up to the reviews.
What really stands out is the attention to detail. It's not just the quality breakfast, it's the little touches that make a difference. They've recently introduced new bread and even the toast was delicious.
Friendly service, great food and a café that clearly cares about doing things properly. Highly recommended.

First time we tried this cafe and what a little gem it is too , well spotted by my wife as we drove past looking for a nice bit of breakfast in Eastbourne; try it for yourselves , staff nice and polite and a great fry up aswell ;

I got the large breakfast which is REALLY LARGE and all the items were cooked well and really good quality. The bacon was proper thick cut bacon and not the horrible thin watery stuff you get in a lot of cafés, this makes all the difference.
The staff were lovely too and the place has a really good atmosphere. It's what a café should be. Too many places have become posh with artisan coffee and avocadoes etc .. and we need to cherish the traditional British cafés that we still have left.
You won't regret coming here.

Such a lovely family business run by husband and wife Kevin and Dee.
Such a wide range of homemade food to choose from and cooked to perfection.
Nothing is too much trouble for them.
What l particularly like is however busy the cafe is, they always have time to talk, showing genuine interest in their customers.
This is quite evident in the amount of regulars coming in and the staff knowing exactly what they want to eat and drink.
Kevin and Dee and all the staff go above and beyond to make the cafe not only a lovely place to eat, but a place to go where people genuinely care and make people feel wanted.

This is by far the best cafe in Eastbourne and I think we have tried most of them! The food is freshly cooked, piping hot and scrummy. Dee and Kev and all their staff are amazing and the atmosphere is great. Would definitely recommend this little gem!

Had the Medium Full English Breakfast, and swapped out 2 items so that we could try bubble & squeak and black pudding.
Black pudding was nice, but more of an acquired taste. Thoroughly enjoyed the other items in the breakfast.

Came here as our last place was getting very expensive, great customer service here especially the extra help ingot for my blind friend, however it was more than our original place so won't be going back

We moved to Eastbourne in May 2025 & have tried several cafes but none are as lovely as the Rosy Lee. It comes up hot unlike some of the other cafes we have tried & great tasting ingredients. Also very welcoming friendly staff. If the Rosy Lee isnt open then we just have something at home.
