We are big foodies and have always tried locals. We came across Rosy Lee by accident while looking for a good breakfast place in Eastbourne just after pandemic was over but still with few restrictions. That also we found it through somebody's recommendation. We have never gone anywhere else since. The quality and quantity of the food along with its reasonable price is second to none. It's been almost 4 years and we haven't gone anywhere else or if away found anything close to it's level of food or service. Dee, Kevin and Jo thank you.

Thank you Trevor for your lovely review. we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Traditional decor, reasonably priced breakfasts and prompt, polite staff which deserve to be topped for that reason alone. My eggs were a little too runny and the hash browns a little over cooked but otherwise a very nice breakfast and I do realise that is personal preference.

Thank you Christopher for your review. As you say it is personal preference, but do let us know how you like your eggs and we will be pleased to do them as you like them. As for the Hash Browns they are cooked fresh, so are served crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - but again let us know how you like them. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
When I dropped by to present them with their award certificate from business of the Year it was sooooo busy and the food smelt delicious I decided I needed to come back for a breakfast. So Christmas Eve I dropped by and had the medium breakfast which was very tasty. I would happily recommend you check it out for yourself.

Thank you David for your review. Yes we were incredibly busy when you first popped in to see us, and sorry that we didnt have time to talk. We were however a little more calm on your second visit - at least we had time to say Hello ! We look forward to your next visit.
I popped in for breakfast this morning on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered a medium breakfast which was well cooked and very filling. The coffee was great too. I’ll be back soon

Hi Melissa, Thank you for taking the time to give us a review - we really do appreciate it. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
First thing I noticed, asking for tip! I tip if service is good, no even asked if my food was OK and I was happy, every cafe in Eastbourne I've been in has asked but not here and they ask you to tip? Food was hot beans and tomatoes burning hot from the microwave, I asked for hard eggs, they looked like they had been ran over!
Rosie Lee is definitely not for me!

It’s ok apart from the lads on the table next to us who were very load with not so nice language.
We had to wait 30 mins for food even though they were not busy.
Sorry won’t be back.

Been to Eastbourne a few times now from London it’s a nice little get away tried quite a few cafes in the area but have definitely found our favourite by far! Staff are friendly welcoming and there is a real family feel to the place. Nice touches - little bit of history on the menus, lots of alternatives available, two noisy munchkins on another table (very cute) ldy brought them colouring books and pencils to help them quieten down a little and let their parents eat in peace with no prompting AND proper tea!!! Excellent quality of burger with real cheese not burger cheese! Cheese on toast with beans just home made perfection !!! (I’m pregnant and really fussy at the moment) Nicest thing I have eaten in ages totally hit the spot. Looking forward to the next trip down for another yummy meal out at a very decent price. £19 for four drinks and two meals !

Never had a bad experience in this café, great staff, best breakfast in Eastbourne and delicious pies, all home-made, along with lots of other traditional café food, even open on Sundays until 1 pm, and great value for money, I think it’s the best café in town, and well worth a run down Seaside Road!

This is a really great café, one of my favourites anywhere! The service is really friendly, a real home from home feeling. Everything is cooked fresh, and to order, I normally go for breakfasts, the bacon and sausages are great quality, portion sizes are generous, and it’s great value for money. The breakfasts are so good but sometimes I try other items such as the home-made pie which is particularly good and also really satisfying comfort food such as Welsh Rarebit. Lovely home-made crumbles for pudding - all in all a true traditional cafe with good quality home-cooked food.
