We have just visited The Ordinary Climbing Gym today for our little ones birthday. 2 people had been booked in for the Ordinary Climbers Experience which was AMAZING. 2 more of us got FOMO and booked in for an instructed session. We were all very well looked after by Rocky and team and could not recommend this experience highly enough. Great fun, a great workout and a great laugh with everyone too :) we will be back very soon!!!

Just had the most amazing experience at The Ordinary Climbers in Polegate. Ryan was patient and very knowledgeable. Our 10 year old and 9 year old were super excited and loved every minute of the session. Can’t wait to return.<br>They also have sessions for little ones on a Sunday. Highly recommended.

Booked a bouldering slot while staying in Eastbourne and felt right at home thanks to Leila who greeted us so kindly and showed us around.<br>There are two bouldering rooms, you can start at the one on ground level and from there you can climb up to the cave (excuse me, how cool is that?!).<br>The interior design is super cool by the way - unfortunately we forgot to take pictures.<br>Advice for first-time visitors: you need to book a slot ahead and fill out a form online. That makes Check-in super fast though. Shoes are available for rent and there is a cafe if you're early.

Fabulous activity. These guys rock. Took my Cub Pack there and every child visibly grew in confidence - staff were totally engaged with the kids and couldn’t have done more to make our visits fun, safe and rewarding. Thanks Ordinary Climbers - there’s nothing ordinary about you 👍⚜️

This place is my home from home, unlike other local climbing centres everyone is welcomed and excepted without judgement or pretentious comments or looks from the regulars or staff.I can’t stress how much I love this place and the guys who own and work in it. If I could put ten stars it still wouldn’t be enough!

An absolutely incredible activity experience. Challenges suitable for both adults and children. Rocky, our instructor, was both fantastic and patient with my 11 year old, encouraging her to reach new heights!

We had an experience session at The Ordinary Climbers today and it’s was fantastic. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the very friendly staff, the atmosphere is very relaxed and facilities are excellent. We tried Bouldering, Belay and Abseil with Rocky who was knowledgable, patient and funny too. Overall, a really enjoyable session and we look forward to coming back soon

Me and my son went here today for his 12th birthday and I honestly would give it 10 stars if I could. Having not been before I wasn’t sure which session to book but they were great, emailing and explaining to me over the phone to make sure I picked the right one. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and put every effort in to make sure we had a great time and put our nerves at ease instantly. We had an instructor (Rocky) with us throughout and he was fab, talking us through everything as we went along and making sure we got the most out of our experience. We will definitely be going back for more. A fab evening and would highly recommend 😁

So booked the climbing experience for me and my 9 year old daughter total novices really as she had never climbed and myself very basic stuff over 20 years ago. We lucked out as there were just the two of us in the instruction group out of a possible eight, full safety briefing and instructions given in each area, very supportive and encouraging especially for my daughter. Really good experience with friendly and approachable staff, will be going back at some stage, highly recommended even for beginners

Started going there with my wife in February, we are both complete noobs to climbing and we've found a very friendly and supportive environment, with lots of fun and challenging options for both climbing and bouldering. Absolutely recommended!!

I recently purchased an experience for my children at The Ordinary Climbers Rock Climbing Gym, and I must say that we had an amazing time. Our session was led by Matt, who made the experience both challenging and fun. He gave 100% of his attention to us, explaining various climbing techniques and providing helpful and attentive guidance. When we returned for a second visit, we were led by Sebastian, who was equally great and fun to work with. He gave more than 100% of himself, and we all loved the experience so much that we're considering subscribing to a membership. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to try climbing or already loves the sport. I didn't realise until then how amazing of a sport it is!

A fantastic first time experience at ordinary climbers. Rocky was an incredible instructor, patient and very understanding with a mix of 14 year olds all the way up to the slightly less energetic parents. Very caring and understand with our autistic children and supportive with all fears and difficulties. We WILL DEFINITELY go again. Thank you so much. X

A really great indoor climbing centre with plenty of features and walls to practice and improve. A really nice cozy cafe section to relax and chat. Really enjoy the facilities here.<br><br>Prices are really fair for sessions and rentals, and staff are so friendly.<br><br>Recently completed the 3C’s course they run , it was very informative and supportive in how Top Roping is done, instructor Rocky was super friendly and a great teacher. Props to him.
