My son and I visited The Ordinary Climbers on Wednesday 29th August. I had never climbed before and was not sure what to expect. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and felt at ease. Our instructor was called Rocky and he was brilliant, he assisted us in to our harnesses and we started off on the small climbing wall just getting to grips with what we would be doing, he explained everything to us. Then it was on to the main climbing wall which in places was just 10 meters high. He showed us how to use the equipment and how to clip on to the safety lines. They have several self powered lowering pulleys which were great fun when you eventually got to the top let go and sailed down slowly back to ground. We climbed for approximately an hour and then finished off with an abseil agin from 10 meters. All the staff we spoke to were great but a special thank you must go to Rocky as we really had a great time climbing with him.

Had a cracking time at the Ordinary Climbers. Opted for the OC experience to get a taster of what’s available. Rocky looked after us and was fab! My wife struggled with her fear of heights but Rocky really helped her step by step to get her confidence and she nailed the absail as well as the rope climbing. Kudos to the crew! The venue was spot on and staff really friendly and knowledgeable.<br>Highly recommended and will be back for sure!

Really friendly and supportive team, my two boys had never climbed before and this was their first experience, they are now hooked! In the first session George was their instructor, and really helped develop their confidence. The second session we completed was with Ryan who made it a lot of fun and lots of enthusiasm, continuing to build confidence. We will definately be visiting again and highly recommend!

I came here with my 13 year old son on holiday. What a great place! He did the Experience that included climbing, bouldering and abseiling for an hour and a half. Very friendly and knowledgeable instructors. Everyone that worked there seemed happy and welcoming and I will give a special shout out to Ryan who was my son's great instructor! Big thumbs up and would definitely recommend.

Took my son for the Sunday 'coffee and climb' for the first time today, and he absolutely loved it!<br>Staff were friendly as soon as we walked in and welcomed us with smiles, which was much appreciated.<br>The instructor for the session Ryan, was so bubbly and funny, he really made it so much fun for the kids and still managed to keep the session very well structured, will 100% be booking my son for more of the sessions, Ryan was so encouraging for him! All high fives and telling him how he was doing at each step.<br>Cannot rate the session, the staff and the overall experience higher! For anyone with a monkey-child like mine, it's a fantastic session to hone in on their climbing skills, burn off some energy AND have a great time! 🌟 🌙

I took 4 children along to the instructed session today and they all had a great time. Ryan and George really looked after them and encouraged them to do things they hadn’t tried before. Its was great to see them in the different areas, especially when they climbed to the upstairs without ropes and then abseiled down!

My son attended an assisted class today run by Rocky & Matt at The Ordinary Climbers and WOW! We instantly saw a huge improvement in his confidence and we have already booked him into the after school clubs! He is so so excited to start the after school clubs but we will most definitely be back before September 😊 THANK YOU ALL
