Visited Eastbourne for first (and last) time and was looking for traditional fish and chip shop, stumbled on the Holiday Inn and had the best cod and chips for a very long time. Price very reasonable, service excellent and a lovely cup of tea. Highly recommended.

Lovely little find. It's a fish and chip takeaway however behind this is the restaurant. Nothing fancy if anything takes you down memory lane. Looks are misleading, run by Portuguese who are really friendly, meals are second to none. Everything cooked to order. Only time I have white bread and butter but goes perfect with your meal. Puddings a blast from the past. They are licensed which is nice. Very popular, you can reserve a table. We always pop in for an early meal on a Saturday before heading to speedway. Worth trying for sure
