Excellent! The icecream is good, but the friendly welcome and old world nostalgia is even better. A trip back to the days when menues were hand-written on mirrors and shop owners actually cared more about you than your money.<br><br>Well worth a visit if you want to remember trips to the seaside in the 70's and 80's and still get a modern selection of ice-cream, served with a warm welcome.<br><br>If it's not too busy you may even get to meet the famous parrot.

I don't understand why there's often a queue for Fusciardis whilst this place had has no one waiting. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with Fusciardis, but it must be a location thing. Or each person just following ther crowd. Because Thayers is easily equal in terms of quality. Their ice cream selection is huge. And the owner is lovely and always bends over backwards in his customer service! If you want to save yourself the wait for your icecream next time you're in that area, walk a few feet further and try Thayers instead :)
