Arrived early into Eastbourne so wanted to find somewhere for breakfast. I opted to go the opposite way from the large Costa and came across That Coffee Place. The warm welcome and mini breakfast were a perfect way to set up for a weekend hiking - grabbed a baguette to go, for lunch later as well! Thoroughly recommend and will come again next time I'm down here!

Just out of the rail station and to the right! What a cute little spot providing options for all as well as dedicated gluten free. I had a bacon and brie sandwich on fresh panini and my gf partner had a jacket potato with beans and salad. We both had a dessert and a coffee. Very affordable and we both left with full tummies! Thank you from Toronto!

We love That Coffee Place! Hayley is so welcoming and friendly, and such a hard worker. It's our go to place when we are in Eastbourne, and our grandchildren love the milkshakes and cakes. I don't seem to be able to get the star rating to work, but it's 5 star and more!

That Coffee Place is the perfect location for a coffee and brunch/lunch. Such a wide variety of coffees, baked goods and food available. The milkshakes and brownies are divine! Customer service is brilliant and the owner Hayley does a fantastic job running the place on her own. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Eastbourne town centre.

Stopped here for a breakfast and a coffee ☕️ with family. I had the classic breakfast. 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon 🥓 with 2 poached eggs, and beans with toast. Was a lovely, well cooked breakfast with great service. Thank you chef. 5 stars from me. 😁 👍🏻

If you're in Eastbourne, make sure to visit this delightful café! The coffee here is simply amazing, and the service is outstanding. I ordered a panini, and it was incredibly tasty. The ambiance of this café is unique, making you feel like you're part of the iconic "Take On Me" music video by A-ha. Really lovely baguettes, especially good bread! Went with a gluten free friend and they were very satisfied with their avocado toast. I am told the gluten free carrot cake is divine, and I have to say the same about my biscoff slice which I have the pleasure of eating at home thanks to the take away options.<br><br>Perfect place for a light lunch, especially if you are eating with someone who is gluten free. The owner was so very friendly and an overall great stop on our day out to Eastbourne :)

Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore new cafes. The interior is so unique and unlike anything I've seen before. Everything is hand-sketched and applied on the walls, tables, chairs, everything! It feels like you're inside a sketchbook!! 😍 I had the Latte and in-house popular Carrot Cake. Exceptional service as well. Nothing stopping me from going back again and will.
