It's rare to find a cafe that can cater for people with dietary restrictions by happily giving you options that aren't on the menu. Also somewhere that serves decaf tea!<br><br>A lovely cafe that's a little different. The decor was strikingly fresh and alternative. Really nice owner who was happy to have a chat.

I believe the owner was the person behind the counter/serving us on our weekday breakfast - lovely coffee, delicious food. I'd messed up while placing the order (forgot to add avocado to one of the dishes) and as soon as this became apparent, the owner was kind enough to serve us a complimentary side of avocados.<br>Will definitely be coming back here often.

This is my new go to place in Eastbourne. The owner is lovely, makes a good coffee, has the best tasting cakes on offer and the design inside is so cool! Anyone wanting to avoid a chain cafe or the bigger independents of Eastbourne should go here.

My go to place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. All the food is great but the poached eggs and avacardo on sourdough toast is my absolute favourite 😋 very trendy stylish cafe run by hard working decent folk, can definitely recommend if your in Eastbourne and looking for a bite to eat or a nice cuppa👌

We visited this absolutely stunning coffee shop close to the station recently I want to say the talent that went into decorating the detail is incredible and this dedication doesn’t stop at the design of the place either it follows through to the service and welcoming atmosphere top notch little gem in the town a must for anyone

I have visited here with my daughter, with family but moreso for work supporting young people within the community. The young person I bring here always wants to return, she loves the space, the low level music and the drawings on the wall are so intricately done she loves finding something new every time. Her perfect place to chill, or to focus and complete her school work.<br>Gorgeous food (eggs benny are delish!) And their cakes and tray bakes are to die for. Always a pleasure to go back.

You’d be hard pressed not to find a coffee shop in Eastbourne, especially a location as a prime as the town centre. You’re never more than a stones throw from a local indie coffee house and all of them serve a stellar cup.<br><br>Another one to the mix could easily be written off as overkill, unnecessary and bold to take on well established businesses however That Coffee Place has quickly earned its place on the high street and is rapidly becoming one of the best in Eastbourne with its addictively smooth coffee, waist line ruining cakes, gorgeously unique interior design and wonderfully welcoming owner Jodie.<br><br>I’ve long been a regular patron at many of the coffee shops in the area but since opening I have been visiting That Coffee Place on average twice a day, 5 days a week - I’m not exaggerating. It’s just that good.<br><br>Do yourself a favour and grab a cup of your favourite hot beverage from That Coffee Place and weep with joy as Jodie ruins all other coffee houses!
