When we were there it was a wet day and very few people around , however i would think on a nice day it would be lovely to look around and sit out for coffee.

First time we had visited here this past weekend very impressed lovely marina with apartments overlooking either the marina or the harbour, a selection of shops to browse in as well as a good selection of eateries from fish and chips to Italian and Indian, I would say this would be the perfect place for people to retire to if they want peace and quiet as well as the close proximity to the sea.

Has a few restaurants to visit plus close to Crumbles shopping. Can eat at the Marina and walk around to a cinema and large retail park.

There used to be a separated area outside, that was gated off, so if you wished to eat without cigarette smoke spoiling your food, you could. That's not the case now. What a shame.

We went on a lovely, sunny friday afternoon, around 4.30pm. The seating is ok, the view is superb.

If you wish to eat you have to go inside - now I queued up as there is a big sign telling you to do so - I waited ages and finally a girl told me that if you're sitting outside you order your food and drinks from the bar - would be nice if their big sign included this?!

You have to pay first, you aren't allowed to open a tab.

The food was very variable. The menu is quite complicated to understand. They've got different types of ways of ordering. You can get a grill plus sauce plus side plus unlimited free salad, which also includes small rolls and butter above the salad bar.

Two of us went for a half chicken, chips and different sauces. One was with a gravy - which the person having said was lovely and was with a good size piece of chicken and plump looking.

The other chicken was much smaller and quite overdone and dried out. Chips were awful, not crisp at all.

They both came with peas which I hadn't noticed on the menu.

Another had boneless ribs with pilau rice and BBQ sauce, the same sauce as me and we both found it far too strong and left most of it. The boneless ribs looked quite burnt in places but tasted ok, the rice was tasteless.

Another had a chicken breast and said it was ok.

We did have two lots of people smoking outside, which wasn't nice whilst we were eating. A great shame they've not divided the area up into smoking and non smoking, like it used to be, this would stop me from going again.

The salads available were quite varied and tasted lovely. Lots of toppings including large croutons and lots of different dressings including low calorie mayonnaise, blue cheese and 1000 island.

When we had our meals bought out we weren't asked if we'd like any sauces, something that should be done.

If you sign up for their newsletter - you get a printable voucher straightaway for one of their free refill soft drinks - worth £2.35, which I used. They only have Pepsi, not coke available, but for youngsters it's a great price for non stop drinks!

Easy parking, good selection of restaurants and a safe place to walk around.
The place was litter free and no graffiti which I hope they keep up.
Would recommend this place to all ages.

Good place to go to eat, plenty of restaurants. Was very crowded on a sunny day and finding a place outside to eat was difficult. Restaurant seemed overwhelmed and food arrived nearly cold. However staff were friendly and polite, heated the food up!

The overall buildings and restaurants complement each other, along with other retail shops close by. We walked there from Eastbourne Town Centre, and on a sunny day it's really warm and inviting. One of my new favourite haunts
