Lots of Restaurants overlooking the Harbour is Lovely. Harvester restaurant for families is good. Boat trips around the harbour at very reasonable prices.

Just moved to sovereign harbour so the waterfront is only a few mins walk away. The marina is huge with boats of all shapes and sizes and the two locks in and out of the marina are worth watching for 15 mins. The waterfront is ok thought as it was such a prime spot there would be more there and disappointed th at the Chippy closes at 8pm

We have use of an apartment on this huge development & love coming down from the North of England. The development is very well done with lots of different building styles. The restaurant & shopping area has a lot to offer with most dining tastes being catered for. We've eaten at 4 of the restaurants & have been pleased everytime. The bout tour around the harbour is definitely worth doing & the commentary is delivered in a very knowledgeable & humorous way. All in all, a great place to spend a few hours - especially when the sun is out.

Well worth a visit. We walked back into Eastbourne but it is a long walk. It is a lovely setting with some lovely boats. Plenty of places to have something to eat and drink.

Lots of lovely restaurants but not The Harvester...like school dinner time with a barging match for salad of all things...Go to one of the other restaurants that are FAR superior...A lovely area to visit.

The Sovereign Harbour is a good place for a meal - lots of restaurants from good old Harvester to quite a posh Indian, with Italian and English in between. We sometimes walk from the seafront along past the Sovereign Centre and to the Marina for a coffee or a snack, and then back, or it is nice to walk along the walkways by the channels. There are boats to see and the enormous locks filling and emptying add more interest to a visit. There is a big free car park, and just outside this a big trading area with restaurants, Asda, Next and others. Buses will get you that near!

A lovely place to walk and admire all the yachts. You can walk over the lock to see the sights of Hastings in the distance and Eastbourne in the opposite direction.
There is a lot of places to eat, generally chain restaurants.
Good on a summers day.

Went for a walk to this location. A few cafes and restaurants.Lots of accommodation here. This location is ok if you are fit and able to walk. Although we caught the bus back!

Best part for me was seeing all the lovey yachts and boat gliding in an out of the harbour. Good choice of places to eat, small shops not very interesting. Nice place to relax for a while watching the world go by. Just around the corner there are a few high street shops and a supermarket. Easy access via local bus or dotto train

Was like being abroad eating alfresco around the harbour. Good to find restaurants that open all afternoon - unlike the ones in Eastbourne! Didn't see much of it though, as had to get back to catch dotto bus, which finishes rather early.

Had a lovely day at the Marina and went on the Harbour Boat trip which was well worth the £4.50 trip charge per adult as it was informative as well as entertaining

We were recommended to visit this development and it was very worthwhile. The organisation for getting the boats, yachts etc, which varied in size and value, from the sea into the marina and from one area to another was truly amazing. All the spectacular high rise accommodation blocks made it appear like a small town with a shopping mall not very far from the Marina.

Limited number of restaurants in a small area. Harvester restaurant is great value but outside empty tables with dirty plates and seagulls swooping down. The whole place lacks atmosphere and zero nightlife/nightclubs. Needs investment in decent fashion shops and more high end restaurants and bars. At the moment all a bit cheap and tatty.Parking though is very good and free.

Nice modern harbour, pleasant place to walk around, easy parking fairly close, loads of (fairly basic, but adequate) restaurants. Try a harbour boat trip.

Although the harbour is a little bit out of town it was well worth the land train ride to get there. There were loads of places to eat and drink and also an out of town shopping centre with major retailers.

The shops are unique, with lots of different ideas. The coffee shop we used was excellent. Nice to wander around and see all the different sailing crafts

Drove down to the free car park and walked around. Like most of these developments, they are pretty lifeless. There are a number of cafés overlooking the waterfront but most pretty dead when we were there.

This was my second time here and it has grown quite a bit
in the last few years. More shops, restaurants etc. With the
sun shining the other day you could pretend you were in
Vilamoura! We visited Pablos on the waterfront for lunch
and it was really nice, great value too. We shared a pizza
and a pasta both of which were excellent.

We had walked there which was a bit of a slog, so travelled
back on the 'Ditto' land train which was fun and nicer than
going by bus.

I will one day (when I win the lottery) buy a nice penthouse apartment here.
Soveriegn harbour village is a really good place to look at the yachts and day dream whilst having a nice meal, or just a drink, al fresco.
There are boat trips available, and a few years ago I was able to take a power boat driving course here.
A good selection of restaurants Thai, Italian, English, Fish & chips, plus a Harvester Pub . Also Boutique shops.
There is also a Retail Park here so well worth a visit

Free parking yes and you can get a drink and something to eat. This is basically a marina, somewhere to keep a boat with adjacent dwellings. Not really a tourist attraction.
