Love walking around the marine and regularly end up at one of the restaurants with the family when they come to visit us as we are just down the road.

A lovely place to walk round and look at the variety of boats that are in the Marina. Walk to the harbour wall and watch boats coming in and out of the locks. A lovely complex with a mix of houses and apartments. There are plenty of shops and various eating places - restaurants, bars and cafe's.

We visit here often, the cinema here is perfect for those with mobility issues as it has no steps to seats. There is a lovely cafe in the harbour, we often visit for lunch in the sunshine. We have also had dinner at the harvester on the marina, which is standard chain pub food and often requires a wait until he evening.

Sunday my wife and I paid a visit to The Sovereign Harbour North. What a surprise. This place is packed with great shops, restaurants, cafes and water side entertainment. With the sun you really feel relaxed and well worth making the trip. Nice and clean and if you want to make a walk along the harbour there is plenty to see. Harbour boat trips are also available

Really good array of shops, bars and restaurants. Shops aren't cheap but they are stylish. Free parking, a good walk around the marina admiring what we can't afford, all in all really nice. If you are on a budget there is a harvester which is always good when the family are with us. There is also a retail park with a cineworld that backs onto the marina.

Everything you need in one area. Cinema, shops, bars and restaurants all in the same idyllic spot. Sit and have a drink, enjoy a meal and all whilst sitting at the harbour-side and watching the world go buy.

Lots of restaurants and a fairly up-market shop all on one side of the superb marina. Great to walk around, for photo-snappers and just chilling out. Free parking as well make this a good place to visit for all.

There are mountains of places to eat, depends on your fancy that day. All seem to be very well presented, and if it's a sunny day you have a bonus.

Boat trip around the Marina followed by an ice cream. Ample parking and a good cinema. Very noisy in summer with loud music coming from one of the bars

The Harvester at Sovereign Harbour was excellent, overlooking the boats in the harbour. It was very busy on a Saturday night but got a table within 20 minutes. The staff were very helpful, our waiter Paul was great, and the food was good and reasonably priced. Just would never have found it without the aid of the satnav! Would definitely return.

We lived in an apartment over looking the sea for six years. My wife ,loving gardening and having sold our place in Spain, which had a decent garden found our apartment gardenless. Therefore we moved. I, personally , loved it there. I enjoyed the view the beach and the Marinas facilities. But she who must be was obeyed.

Four separate yacht basins. Interesting either to walk round or to take the guided tour by launch with commentary. Wide range of shops and restaurants. Interesting too to see the locks and bridges that open and close to let yachts through. A worthwhile couple of hours to spend here. And free car parking. So a free trip if you want one!

We walked from Eastbourne town to the harbour and it was worth the walk, great coffee shops/bars and you can walk through to the retail park if you fancy the usual shopping (Next, Tk Maxx, etc). There is an interesting locks system to get the boats in and out, so plenty to see and good for people watching. Had to get the land train back to Eastbourne as it felt like we had been walking for hours!

Brilliant place to visit, great selection of restaurants and cafés, bars. Nice shop to visit. Do the boat trip around the harbour this is a really nice way to see all the beautiful boats close up. If you get a chance walk to the fountain feature which is nestled in the middle of the housing just off Atlantic Drive, this is reputedly the biggest water feature in Europe.

Good to boat watch, cinema nearby on a wet day and near the beach too. Also a nice walk from central Eastbourne/Pier on a sunny/day day. Could live there really.

Completely sheltered with 24 hour locked entry and an easy fuel berth. We ate at one of the busy restaurants on site. ASDA is 5 minutes walk and Dover but 45 miles away.

I love how the harbour feels like a vibrant place to be. Lots of food and drink places to visit, although I just went for a walk around the harbour, looking at the boats and watching the boats coming in and hour. It was a lovely place to visit. And free parking close by.
