There are 4 separate marinas a shopping park with a cinema and restaurant area. Some nice eating places including a Thai, Italian, pub with restaurant and others. On a summers evening one could be on the Med, lots of outside tables. The marina entrance has the largest lock gates in Europe.Well worth a visit.

The Marina has good parking and easy access walkways, accessible by bus too. There is plenty to do, shops, restaurants and places to walk. You can watch the boats go in and out of the Marina with children, walk out to the sea, see the local seal, or just have a bite to eat.

I discovered Sovereign Harbour and it's Marina by accident over 8 years ago. As I explored further I thought it was the most superb development I'd ever seen. It had style and class, the entire place was beautifully manicured and sustained. I fell in love with it and decided in that moment that it was the place I wanted to live. I subsequently found a house and have lived here ever since. Even today after 8 years as a resident it still impresses me and I've never regretted the decision. The range of bars and restaurants at the Marina is excellent, as is the wide selection of quality shops in the adjacent retail park. I would recommend a visit to anyone.

Had a walk around the Maina today with a friend. Very pleasant area. It was quite busy but it was a beautiful day. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops. There are also quite a few shops in the surrounding area. All in all very pleasant.

This marina is one of the largest in Europe with 4 linked harbours where there are boats of all sizes. it was initially opened in 1993.It is very interesting to stroll round. There are some exclusive properties here that are gated besides the harbour. A good selection of restaurants and cafes. Also a small Retail park that includes Asda, Boots, Sports Direct, Next etc. It is worth a visit. Free parking and on Bus route number 99.

We visited one early evening, we found it very interesting, a hive of activity watching the fishing boats leave the Harbour. The Marina has board walk ways and seats, where you can relax with a drink. There are also lots of eateries offering a wide range of food, from burgers, fish, steaks etc. There is ample free parking,

A good assortment of shops- Azda, Boots, TK Max, Next, shoe shops, furniture store and a multiplex cinema. Plenty of eateries right next to the waters edge where you can sit and watch the world go by -Thai, Simply Italian, Coffe shop/ cafe and a fish and chip shop. Bus services- 51 to the Harbour or 98 and 99 from Eastbourne and get off at Asda and walk through past the shops to the harbour.

We live right on the harbour and it's such a lovely walk around the harbour. Our two year old loves riding his scooter around and looking for fish and at the boats that are docked there.

Nice lot of shops and restaurants, and a very nice place to walk around on a sunny day to look at the varied boats moored here. When we visited last summer there was live music on offer.

I like sovereign harbour and live in Eastbourne. There are a few good restaurants and coffee houses in the area but for me the walk around sovereign harbour is the best. I love looking at the boats and the marina, then walking onto there beach area. Depending on how i feel i can walk from 30 minutes to a couple of hours going all the way down towards Pevensey Bay.

The cineworld cinema is worth checking out on a not so nice day as it is just a walk around the corner.

The harbour was a real surprise. Ittook us ages to walk round all the nooks and crannies. Some amazing boats rest here. The residentials are smart and really set the area off. Situation very near are a main supermarket, restaurants and small shops. There is also a shopping Mall just situated behind. Depending on the route you take, access to the beach is also there

Jogged through this place twice. Seems like a great place to relax and watch the boats go about their business. Ideal for taking the kids to. After watching the boats there are plenty of eateries to relax and grab a coffee and a bite to eat. Walking distance to the centre of Eastbourne as well

Beautiful Marina with wonderful boats, surrounded by wonderful flats, very picturesque. The bars and restaurants seemed very good, had a glass of wine and sat in the sun, very chilled time. A wander round the marina to where the boats come in was very interesting when seeing the mechanism in action, overall a nice time.

Interesting place to walk round, look at the boats & have a meal. There are plenty of places to eat. You can view the accommodation and look at the lock. There are usually fishing boats, sometimes with their catch. Interesting for young children and when damp weather.

This is my favourite place to relax with beautiful views in Eastbourne. There are several restaurants to choose from and a bar. There is the Harvester, Thai Marina, Simply Pasta, Pablos, Gringos, a fish and chip shop and of course somewhere to grab a proper ice cream cone. It's suitable for all ages, my 2 children (4&7) love to have their lunch/ dinner whilst watching the boats
