When I visit Eastbourne again, I will definitely rent an apartment at the Marina. Plenty of restaurants and shopping.

Several places to eat or simply have a cuppa here. Simply Italian were offering a cup of coffee and a Danish or apple strudel for £3.95. Large cup and very good strudel made this excellent value. Bright winter day, view of the marina, quiet (less so weekends and warmer weather?) Had a good walk round and a good time.

Cold day but fairly sunny when we visited. In warm weather would feel like the Med. lots of places to eat and drink although not all dog friendly.

Prima beschutte haven. Bij eb of nacht even goed opletten. Alles wat je nodig hebt binnen loopafstand. Eastbourne makkelijk te bereiken per bus of toeristentreintje. Enig nadeel: in het seizoen liggen er nogal veel Nederlanders...;- Bij entree maak je kans op een foto op marine traffic.

The combination of free parking, choice of restaurants and the ability to walk by the boats or alongside the coastal footpath and beach makes this a very popular venue. If you have forgotten any shopping there are a number of stores within a few hundred metres

This harbour, developed some years ago, is well worth a visit when in the Eastbourne area. Walking around it is good and to the main town of Eastbourne if you are feeling energetic. The food outlets and the nearby shops are with a visit and you can sit and enjoy a drink right on the harbour overlooking the boats. A great place to sit and people watch.

We arrived from the sea is a force six to find shelter and rest. The facilities are excellent with clean modern showers and toilets. In addition there are eateries and pubs in close walking distance. The marina is has appealing architecture and marina staff were more than helpful and very cheery folk.
