Walking around marina is very nice except it's spoilt by cyclists being allowed to ride there bikes, considering the amount of elderly people who like walking around there, like myself, one day there will be an accident.

On a warm, sunny day it is just great to sit quayside, and look at the boats in the harbour, spot mullet swimming , and maybe other fish as well.
There is a nice selection of restaurants to complete the day
Have a wander towards the beach, just outside the lock gates is another small harbour, where you may well see seals.

Interesting seeing all these boats also saw the lock open to allow boats to enter the harbour. Enjoyed the walk all around the harbour. Well worth a visit

Nice place for a wander around, probably best to park in the retail park with Asda etc, as no other clear parking available nearby that I could find. Make sure you go out towards the sea, as we saw two seals.

Lots of shops to browse in, walk round to marina, + a lovely cafe called Kantina. Coffee & pastries to die for!

The marina is in very good condition and is very nice to wonder around and watch the boats coming and going through various locks. However there is not an awfully large selection of places to eat, sadly there wasnt many independent restaurants the ones that were open a sort of had a 'chainy' feel to them. I would say it would be lovely in the summer to sit and have a drink and enjoy the boats but it's not really somewhere to stay for a long period of time.

Thai Marina: Great food, Lovely location, very attentive Friendly Service but always feel a little bit rushed with the serving of their courses and for the price it needs to be more of an experience then fast food

We walk from the Eastbourne Pier to the Harbour and when we got there we were like Wow! It’s nice area for a walk, have a coffee and cake, we didn’t go into the shopping Center but there is an option, we just walk around which it was nice and clean area

Great facilities, pity about the restaurants, several leave much to be desired.

Fantastic place to visit. It's a good place for a walk and look at all the boats and yatchs. There's plenty of cafe's and restaurants and places to drink. You can also walk along the beach. On a clear day you can see Hastings in one direction or the south downs in the other direction. Worth a visit.

Enjoy visiting the boat's nice walks. Cafes, restaurants and a few shop, bus stop available. Nice to see the lock's where the boat's go through, bridge that goes up.

The Marina is lovely - no fee for parking - Great! I was with my nephew who has Autism. It was a really safe place for us to walk and see the boats and lifeboat. This was Saturday 8th February - literally a very calm atmosphere just before the storm. Great places to have a coffee and seating outside on this glorious day.

Just love Eastbourne marina. Plenty of varied choice of resturants all sensibly priced. The views are always changing especially in the summer when the marina really comes alive. A marina with a good feel and buzz about the place. Walk around, visit the locks and watch the boats, yachts, small craft and fishing boats coming and going. In the summer spot the seals in the outer harbour or basking in the sun on the banks. What a lovely sight!!! Walk along the beach and take in the sea air or just stroll around and take in the wonderful atmosphere.
