Big improvement more for kids to do and Interact. Downside no food and a little pricey if only stay around 3 hours.

The farm & trail its self is great, a lot to see and do however the decision to get rid of the fantastic farm shop in place of a soulless empty cafe seems mad. When the only food that’s offered are sandwhiches, sausage rolls and jacket potato’s what is the need of that huge cafe/seating area? Unless they are planning on improving the kitchen and menu, it doesn’t make any sense to have that huge empty space.

That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the farm trail but would be more inclined to return if we were able to purchase a proper breakfast or lunch during our visit.

It is a lovely place that you can spend entire day with the kids if the weather is nice. Many play areas for kids, mini golf and walking path. There are not many animals, sheep, goats, pigs, cows and alpacas.

Nice site, 2 nights here to visit the observatory. Basic site but perfect for my needs. Toilet available (bit of a walk) , EHU, waste disposal and fresh water. Nice and quiet as I was the only one staying. Nice walk around the farm and James is lovely and welcoming. If you want plush conveniences and showers its not for you but if self sufficient or a couple of nights stop over it's just perfect. Great for kids on the farm trail and lakes for fishing. Farm shop and cafe on site too.

We visited Sharnforld Farm today, half term, my sister pre booked the tickets and kids went free. Well what a lovely little gem of a place I didn't know about. The cafe/ shop is so beautiful, this leads to a play area where you can see some lamas then before seeing some pigs and other animals in a farm shed you see 2 dear donkeys who are very friendly and come up to the fence to greet you. Then onwards to the animal/forest trail with lots of things to see along the way.. its like a little adventure trail going round the farm and back to the play area. We had so much fun and they are always thinking of other ideas to fill each area as you go.. it was a lovely and wholesome day with family, like the lovely lady said in the cafe so good for kids to get out, discovering and being kids..no gadgets.. just happy healthy outdoors activities for all to enjoy. Thank you so much, we will definitely visit again.

We had the most wonderful day at Sharnfold Farm last weekend. My 4 year old adored the out door play area, feeding the ducks and chickens and learning about all of the farm animals they have there. The staff at reception and cafe were especially lovely to my daughter and made it a day out to remember. Thanks so much!

We visited based on a friend’s recommendation but were surprised by the high entry cost, especially considering the available activities. The farm itself is well-maintained, with a few animals in stables and enclosed areas, and play zones that kids seem to really enjoy. However, keep in mind that taking home pumpkins costs extra, priced by weight.

We spent about 5 hours here with our children ages 2, 6, 7 & 8. They all loved the range of activities and we had to drag them away from most of them before the farm closed. Even since we last came in the summer, there were new additions to play areas which was great. The layout is great as it keeps everyone busy and entertained walking around in one easy loop. I don't think our 2 year olds stopped walking and playing all afternoon. It's very reasonably priced too which means we are able to visit more frequently. We would also like to say a big thank you for reopening the pumpkin field again for us as we got there 20 minutes after they'd closed... Lots of fun photo opportunities and the kids loved picking a pumpkin to buy. Thank you for a lovely day out, we will be back again soon!

The farm trail and activities are amazing for little ones and lots is included in entry.i was told cafe serves no hot food whilst they get a new chef, however service is unbelievably slow and I was close to cancelling my order waiting.

Stayed at Sharnfold Farm for the weekend - first visit and will definitely go again. A lovely quiet site with good amenities. Quiet location, which was just what we wanted, but also close enough to explore Eastbourne and surrounding area.

Came today with my two children. I’ve not been in years and thought the improvements they’ve made were very good and good value for money. Nice little farm.
There was lots for them to do along the trail and they both enjoyed themselves. Compared to other farms which charge extortionate entrance fees I liked the spacious feel to this place. The little huts were lots of fun, the lawn games and mini golf were big hits with my boys and the music area. I loved the sunflower trail got some lovely pictures.
There wasn’t a very big selection of food in the cafe but I’m guessing maybe because it’s low season now? Would defiantly return and recommend.
