There are two Indian restaurants in Pevensey Bay and this one is certainly the most popular one and from my opinion also the better one.<br><br>Friendly and welcoming staff. Good menu with plenty of choice and prices are reasonable too. There is no car-park but there is a free car park located opposite.

We have been going here since The Raipur opened. Not your '"average" Indian restaurant. Quite upmarket, very clean, good quality crockery, glasses etc. Staff are always so obliging and super attentive without being intrusive. Lovely relaxed ambience. And the food? Simply amazing. Authentic for the region, appetising, tastes delicious and really flavoursome. All cooked in house, presented beautifully, many dishes look like a work of art! Go....you will not be disappointed.

Coming on hols and trying out a takeaway for the 1st time can be a bit hit and miss but this Indian meal was the best takeaway I've EVER had, these guys smashed it out of the park and 5 scores on the doors to boot.<br><br>Couldn't recommend enough!!!

Excellent quality and delicious food and the atmosphere was friendly, the staff were all very welcoming. The price was amazing and really reasonable for the amount of food you got and the service was brilliant. Definitely found a gem of restaurant and will be going again and again.

Superb!! This is right up there with the best curries I've had in the UK!! Great menu, good selection of wines and beers too!<br>I think my only grumble would be the £5 charge for poppadom dips, which is usually complementary in other restaurants. However, the food was fantastic and makes up for that. Otherwise, it is reasonably priced £150 for 5 of us, with drinks, and 3 had desserts too.<br>I will be visiting her a lot!!

After giving this venue a very good review in the past this time was a disappointment mains were fine vegetable side was tasteless and now £5.95 for a takeaway side I would expect better the chicken and chilli naan had no trace of chicken that I could find.<br>When collecting the order staff not very friendly.<br>I previously stated one of the best Indian restaurants around certainly not the case this time.
