My husband had eaten here 9 years ago with his late father and wanted to take me here . We had cod & chips for lunch. The waitress who took our order had worked here for 23 years . Very efficient & friendly. Food hot & tasty ๐ good portions . Definitely reccomend. We will be back when we are in Eastbourne

We have been there as a result of a recommendation, but the dish is too oily, nothing special about it. Extra service price was demanded as we were 10 people having dinner, which, I belive, is nonsense.

Called in for a bit of lunch and we weren't disappointed the service was excellent and the fish and chips were spot on they even removed the skin on the fish for us on top of this they even allowed us in with our little dog ๐ once again thanks fir a great meal ๐

Venue looks very smart on the outside. Inside decor is very fiah and chip shop with plastic covers on the tables etc.<br>Food was OK, didn't blow us away but equally very standard fish and chips.<br>When ordering, my partner only wanted the children's fishfingers and chips (doesn't eat very much at all) but was declined - only under 12s can order kids meals. Obviously a policy in place to protect revenue. Tried to order adults fish fingers and chips - not a menu option. My partner just ordered a portion of beans instead and had some of my fish and chips which filled appetites for both. I explained when paying the bill that the policy probably causes lost revenue at times, server told us she doesn't know "I just work here love"<br>Pleasant enough service, average food.<br>Not bad, wouldn't return.

Great place. As someone who eats halal food, it was great to see the staff reminding us that we can have our food fried separately from the pork sausages. It was delicious!! Would definitely return!!๐ค
