I've been going to Picassos for many years. Could never fault anything.<br>Today I took my elderly friend for lunch, I've raved about it to her, & was really looking forward to showing it off to her.<br>On April 6th I went into the restaurant & asked for a particular table, for today 27th, no problem.<br>On arrival I saw people sitting at the table I'd reserved, an unpleasant waitress told me I can't book a table, it's first come first served, I asked her to look in the reservations book but she simply said the guy who booked us in had left. Not wanting a scene I accepted the table we were given. My friend told me not to worry about it and lets just enjoy our meal.<br>As usual the food was excellent, however, said waitress was noisy, she didn't talk, she shouted & kept singing loudly.<br>What with the noise from the kitchen, (the reason I chose the table furthest away in the beginning) the air con & her, it wasn't a quiet lunch.<br>My friend wasn't impressed.

Picasso's is a big favourite of mine but I was embarrassed to take my friends there yesterday. The service was appalling. Food was excellent as always, but ruined by the sour faced waitress that didn't bother to great us, and made it clear she wanted us to leave by taking the black bin bags out by our table! So disappointed

Food - Well cooked and presented taste nice. I had the Calzone pizza. Lunch deal as well.<br><br>Service - Service was lovely. Waitress who served us made sure we had everything. Offered extra plate and automatic bought us water and cups.<br><br>Atmosphere - Wasn't overly busy but comfortable.<br><br>Overall excellent.

If you like food and space for lots of company this place works.<br>We had a table for 13, we all ordered different dishes, and everything was delicious. And more importantly good size portions.<br>Staff were excellent and I would definitely go back again and again.

My coworkers took me to this restaurant and I was pleased to find a vegan menu! I didn't expect this as this is an old school Italian restaurant. I realised that everyone was getting pasta so I took the hint and ordered one too - and they were right, it was delicious. A disclaimers to vegans: yes I did order the pasta primavera which is essentially tomato pasta which i know we all feel is a cop out as a vegan option but I give my vote of confidence that this is this best pasta I've had in a long time, take the risk! The flavours were great, beautiful sauce and large portions. Not too pricey either. I will be back again with my partner soon!
