Enormous garden centre, lots of non garden stuff eg leisure wear, gifts, crafts. Crazy museum/garden attached, separate entry but they do have Sussex in miniature.. and mini golf, mini train etc. Good range of greetings cards. As a gardener, I think it is a real shame that they no longer sell organic compost in an outlet of this size..

A well stocked place usually has a number of special offers. Clean and tidy with helpful staff. Marked down because they have animals in store and sell cages labelled as suitable for animals when they are not. Examples a 120cm and 100 cm indoor cage which are both labelled as suitable for rabbits. Put an adult rabbit in them they are more prone to gut stasis and hind limb problems due to being inappropriately confined in a small space. It would be an ideal opportunity to promote sheds with attached aviaries as suitable accomodation for rabbits.

Excellent place to take the kids (or grandkids)... plenty to see and do for a few hours... probably even better in the Spring/Summer months but would suspect it gets busy.

Lots to do. View dinosaur area and history of the earth. Little kids may get scared of some parts of dinosaur area as models move and roar and look a bit creepy! I managed not to run off screaming though.... outside play areas and indoor mini soft play all help wear kids down! Cafe, garden centre, arcade and gift shop all held to keep day interesting. Under 3's are free but 4 and upwards are 9.99 to get in so admission can get expensive depending how many in family are above 3 yrs old. Cost aside, overall was a good day out.
