Lovely day out for the whole family (including grandparents!). From the dinosaurs museum, softplay and outdoor playground for the little ones (including the mini railway) to the garden centre and the cafe meet everybody's needs.

Garden centres are strange places. But as far as they go, this is a good one. Lots of plants and helpful staff. The cafe is the best i've ever been to in such a place. The coffee is better than expected. The food is of a good standard. The serving staff are really nice & very efficient! There are many things to buy other than plants. For instance books, Christmas decorations and lights - lots of them! Toys & ornaments (the type old ladies like) Garden wear - gloves, boots, raincoats etc. chocolate & snacks. Lastly & most amazingly there is a children's education & play area with animatronic dinosaurs, very decent playgrounds, retro amusement arcade - plenty of exhibits and big ponds of fish to feed. It's amazing! Also it's a lot bigger than you'd expect. It's well worth the entrance fee (can't remember what it is) You can't miss it, just past the Velociraptor (no that's not a TRex!)
