I wanted to find a paradise for my paradise park.
I needed a place to make me feel like paradise.
This wasn’t my paradise. This was quite frankly the opposite! Don’t get me wrong I’ve been craving some paradise for my park for a while now. unbelievably this was a place for kids! 😂 dont go here if you got the wrong idea like me harhar. Anyway staff were nice and told me to head to BnQ for my bush instead so hay ho won either way. lawn mower worked well, my paradise now feels bare! 🙈
4 stars for lovely staff, knocked one down as I’m a silly cow.

Since my original visit, I am pleased to say that I have found the store cleaner, the staff more happy and polite. I still think there is room for improvement but it's far better than to used to be.

Got the feeling that it had not been open long. A work in progress or perhaps it was just the time of year. A lovely place for families there was something for everyone. Well stocked garden centre and the staff were very helpful. My only criticism was the moss on parts of the outdoor paths which could prove a slip hazard. I didn't go in the cafe as it was half term and very busy.

Only been to the garden centre but this section has everything we need. If you are there on a Friday or Saturday there is a stall outside selling fantastic sausages.

Good educational value, has a decent playing area with arcade, table football, air hockey, indoor and outside climbing frame, air bouncy pillow with sand, mini golf, train ride, in and outdoor flower garden. Lovely location, brilliant fun and educational for kids and adults alike.

Wonderful place, a bit dog-eared but still unique. We’ve been coming for almost twenty years and have always loved it. We’ve had birthday parties here and adult get-togethers. It might need a lick of paint, but the experience is still captivating. The decision to not allow dogs into the cafe any more is celebrated by those of us who love dogs but don’t want to eat with them. Well worth many visits.

We met family there for lunch, which was enjoyed by most. Prices have gone up, like many other places, but I got a bit of discount on 2 of the lunches through their membership scheme. It's well worth joining, even if you're not going to visit often. Sadly the 2 drinks for the price of 1, wasn't offered. I found that surprising as it usually runs all the time.

I did have a deliciously indulgent hot chocolate. Just as well I didn't eat much.

Sadly the craft section is nothing like it used to be and some items were a lot dearer than elsewhere, though not all. We didn't spend much in the end and went to The Range which was much, much, better for art and craft products.

Even the cat toys in Tates are expensive and the Catnip mice I bought, though a better price, have evoked no interest from my cats, so is likely to be devoid of catnip. Normally I hide them but they're soon discovered unless in a cupboard or similar. I just put these ones on the couch and not a flicker of interest.

The most disappointing thing though, was how cold it was in the store and coffee shop. I've visited at all times of year and range of temperatures and I've never known it to be so cold. My lunch wasn't very warm and the broccoli was stone cold. Almost all the family were unhappy with the temperature and eager to leave.
