Disappointing. Having been told we need to book when we tried to we were informed that a telephone booking was no longer required. However when we turned up we were told that a table was not available as we hadn't pre booked!<br>After a short discussion a table was found, however the service was slow and the food ordinary.

Thought we would try somewhere new.<br><br>Lovely restaurant inside and outside overlooking the harbour.<br><br>Staff friendly, welcoming, and attentive.<br><br>We didn't fancy a full meal, so we ordered starters with fries and salad to share. Food was hot and freshly prepared 😋 very tasty. Only negative is it is slightly over priced.<br><br>We will come back again to have a proper meal.

The food here is great however it it really let down by the service - we got our drinks which took a while to come however during the meal we ordered some more drinks and we had to ask for these two more times as they did not arrive - attention by staff was very slow and they seemed like they did not really want to deal with customers

Amazing staff, our waitress was fab and polite, and quickly sorted our table’s issue with the wrong dish. The service gives it the extra star but unfortunately the food was 3-star. Frozen or refried “special” (fritto misto) that was advertised as including tartare sauce. Well, it did - in a packet, sadly. As an ex-chef I know how quick, cheap and easy it is to make tartare from scratch, especially for a special. Bolognese was not bad and I did rate the delicious cake, though.

Surprised that some reviews complained about service as service was really great. My mother somehow got the wrong dish but they acted efficiency to bring something else. As for the food, good source and veg, but the meat tasted like it could have been out of the freezer. Price was ok given location. Would return for service and view of harbour.

Had a table booked for 7pm on a Saturday, so we expected the place to be quite busy (which it was), but we didn't expect it to be quite so loud. The music playing was so loud people had to raise their voices to talk to each other, and then even more to be heard over other people's conversations.<br><br>The atmosphere was nice, we were sat by the window so we had a lovely view of the water, and the decor inside was lovely.<br><br>The food was alright - we ordered 3 pizzas, a side salad and a side of chips. The two pizzas with lots of toppings were great, but I just had a margherita pizza, and it was a little disappointing. The base was burnt, and there was about a third of it which looked like it didn't have anything on, no sauce or cheese. The parts that did have the toppings was lovely, but it would have been nice to enjoy the whole thing. Fairly average prices (about £12 for a pizza).<br><br>The service was generally okay. The woman who brought us our drinks and took our order was lovely, the food came out in good time, but once we'd finished our meal, we had to wait about 20 minutes with empty plates in front of us before anyone came over to clear our plates, and even when they did, it was only because my partner called someone over. We asked for the bill and it was brought to us, then we asked for the card machine, and the server nodded, left to seemingly go and get it, but went straight back to laying other tables. Eventually we just paid in cash, and we still had to get up to find someone to give it to.<br><br>My aunt, who was facing the front of the restaurant, said she felt like they were avoiding making eye contact with her while we were waiting to have our plates taken away. I understand it was quite busy, but there were times when the staff were standing and talking while we were trying to get their attention.<br><br>Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. I'd go back again, but I don't think it would be a first choice.

Was a busy Wednesday and luckily had a table free. Food was great, service was spot on and nice atmosphere. Very busy but didn't feel like we waited for anything.
