Lovely little restaurant. We visited Monday 12th July 2021. Friendly staff. Very high quality food. Would recommend the prawn toast, duck with beansprouts and lemon chicken. Really delicious!

Mr Hau's is your average chinese restaurant serving decent food at amazing prices with generous portions.<br><br>had as takeaway.<br><br>their rolls are fantastic - the duck was super nice. their special fried rice is average. it lacked the wok hei that I was expecting. however, the portion is generous and priced really well. food took a while but its likely due to them frying the rolls fresh.<br><br>staff were nice and friendly.<br><br>they do dine-ins, with reservations recommended as its a popular spot in town. they take cash and card.

We have been visiting Mr Hau's for many years and have seen the business change from the 2 restaurants to the current one. We have always been well looked after by Elvis and the team, and the food is always excellent and we always feel like we get value for money. Offering both take away and eat in choices we can get a meal whatever our needs are at the time. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Hau's to others for an excellent Chinese dining experience.

In my personal experiences with chinese food in Eastbourne, this is the best by a country mile, salt and pepper squid was the best I have tasted, not just in Eastbourne I mean ever, if I was being picky I would say the plum sauce with the duck could have been a little better but that's about it, the food was spot on
