Spoilt for choice on Italian eateries in the locality - we chose La Locanda Del Duca and were not disappointed. Highly recommended with staff friendly and helpful. Eating from the set menu the choices were good, the food plentiful and tasty. The service was fast paced but all staff were attentive. If visiting Eastbourne would definitely head back there.

We were staying at Eastbourne for 2 nights to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and booked an evening meal at La Locanda Del Duca for the 1st evening.<br>The service and food was excellent... So good in fact that we booked a table for the 2nd evening! The restaurant didn't disappoint and once again service and food was 1st class. The lamb cutlets were exquisite....the best ever... very tender.<br>We've booked a table for November when we're back in Eastbourne and looking forward to another relaxed meal, in lovely surroundings.<br>This restaurant we would highly recommend.... You won't be disappointed!

The food good but I thought the waiter was off hand and rude but you seem to be all over my girlfriend couldn't do enough for her and don't want to do anything for me so I think you should talk to that way to is a taller fella with dark hair air and the Beard sort the night really don't know if I'll go back there again

There are a few Italian restaurants to choose from in Eastbourne and we were really happy that we chose this one.<br>The set menus are excellent value, we all choose a pasta dish and all were excellent. Starters tasty too and a top notch tiramisu to finish.<br>Very professional and attentive service topped off a highly enjoyable evening.

Very disappointing experience indeed. Started off ok waiting staff seemed attentive and on the ball but it didn't last. Got our starter. After that waited for ages for plates to be taken away and then at least a full half hour or more before we got our main course. Again a long wait before dessert. Ordered 2 coffees after that and only got 1 had to call someone over to get the other.<br>While all this was going on other people were coming in and being served before us and quickly!! Food ok. Over priced. You expect decent service if you are paying those prices surely!<br>Perhaps we were invisible?<br>Would not go again or recommend.
