Lovely food beautifully cooked, presented and served. A really superb menu too. The decor and napery were rather dated, but that didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the experience.

We felt a 48th Wedding Anniversary deserved a special meal out and for us there was only one place to go and we were not disappointed. Thank you La Locanda team for making our special evening even more special. As usual food excellent and the service efficient, warm and friendly. Great evening.

At the time of our visit it was very busy with the staff doing their best to serve a large number of tables.
A wide selection of traditional food available with either fixed price two / three courses or open menu. All good price.

The food here is excellent and a large choice on the menu. The staff are very polite and friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

Really great friendly service today and great quality food delivered to the table.
Only quibble was the gluten free choices promised did not materialise despite reassurance that they could do them if preordered. Some of the alternative food options brought to the table were ok but others were disappointing.

Excellent restaurant, excellent food, excellent staff! Could not fault this place. We ate early (6pm) but it soon filled up and by 7pm was virtually full and it was easy to see why. We stayed in Eastbourne for 5 days and this was clearly one of the best meals we had all week. Totally recommended.
