My daughter held her 11th birthday party at Knockhatch ski and snowboarding centre.
All I can say is - BRILLIANT!! From the minute we arrived the kids (all15of them) were looked after. The instruction on the slope they received was excellent - two very patient instructors, nothing was too much trouble and all the kids were up on their boards in no time.
Afterwards they had pizza and garlic bread in the party room which was fab. There was tea and coffee for the parents.
An absolute bargain at £12.95 per head.
Highly recommended.

Excellent location, amazing bouncy pillows and owl and birds of prey talks where you can hold the animals. I have to say I have never seen a peregrine on a bouncy pillow before - very funny! Would recommend for kids parties as well. Has a very natural feel about it. Also has laser quest type thing and a very steep slide among other things. You won't regret coming!

Took my little one for a day out, nice little farm area, all the animals looked healthy and relatively interested in the visitors, then we went to the play area...,, it's huge ! 3 stories ! Thoroughly knackered my boy out, and it was cheap as well , we didn't try the food as we brought a picnic, but it was reasonably priced and smelt awesome, 10/10

My 5 year old loved it here. Great value and lots to do! Will be coming again.
Optional activities like Rock Climbing are extra but not expensive.

Visited the park for the first time yesterday and was really impressed with all the farm/park had to offer. It was great value compared to alot of other similar days out and even though there were a few optional extras you could pay for they were still reasonably priced and there was still enough to do without adding these. My son is 5 and he absolutely loved it, we arrived at 10.30 and didnt leave till 5pm,will definately be visiting this park again :)

My family and i have been coming for a number of years to knockhatch and it is one of their favourite places to visit every holiday. They are 4,7 and 12. We make the most of the timetable events and just love the boating lake. It is a brilliant day out and it has a very relaxed atmosphere about the place. We are usually first in and last out with a pizza under our arm o eat on the way home in the car. I have one complaint though this year. It is becoming increasing more expensive and their are so many more things to pay for once inside. Don't get me wrong their is plenty to do that you don't pay for but i found myself saying continually this time. No you can't do that because you have to pay for it. This puts a dampener on the day a bit. I do tell the kids to enjoy the free stuff first and we usually pay for rock climbng and bungee jumping but this adds £15 onto the price of getting in for 3 kids. We sometimes pay with tesco vouchers but you can't buy a family ticket you have to pay per person which is (i can't remember exactly) but about £12 more for us which really annoyed. I don't know any other plae that penalises you for the use of the vouchers. Maybe a prepaid card for extras with buy 4 get one free would be a good idea. Haiving said all this i still love the place and will go back in the summer because it is so lovely- i was annoyed with the price hick from last year, it still offers good value.

I visited Knockhatch with a 2 year old and 6 year old and they both had so much fun. The Avalanche slide was there favourite and the giant jumping pillows. There is so much to do here with your children whether toddler or older and its great value for money. Even if it rains there is a large indoor jungle gym and plenty of animals to look at. The staff are also very nice and friendly. I want to personally thank the staff member who texted me exact directions to the park, as I got lost and didnt have reception on my mobile phone.

what a great day we all had, the sun shone and the children aged from 2 -9 all thoroughly had a fantastic time.My only observation was that the boats need to be time limited in some way,as some families take a huge advantage in not being time limited and the que on a busy day can be a long wait. The entrance fee was very good value, compared with say fishers farm it was £40 cheaper for all 8 0f us.We will be back, thankyou to all the management and staff for a truly wonderful time

We went to Knockhatch on a Sunday and although I am normally quite cynical about farmyard adventure lands I have to say I was impressed. We took our 18 month old grandson who loves animals so to be that close to sheep, goats, wallabies, etc was wonderful to him. I was impressed that the majority of attractions were included in the price and although our grandson was a bit young for some of them we can see us taking him back there quite a lot over next few years. My wife, daughter and me enjoyed ourselves and I think the adults enjoyed the wild kingdom show as much as the kids. Also impressed that although there are pcinic tables if you do buy food at the park, it is reasonably priced unlike a lot of tourist attractions where you expect to be ripped off. Sunday was our first trip to Knockhatch but definitely not our last.

We came on a Saturday and have to say all day was excellent. We spent 5 hours there and could of easily stayed longer had we had the time. The highlights for us was the boats, highly amusing and lots of fun!
Would definitely recommend it!

We went with our 7 year old daughter, another family and their 2 girls. It was great - loads to do, interesting animals - especially the hawks, the children enjoyed themselves and it wasn't too crowded. Good value as well.

Fantastic....why all the bad reviews?...no mud, animals seem happy & Wel cared for yes there's not many but what do you expect it's a park not a zoo. Lets start with the drive in, very narrow road! Just enough space to squeeze 2 cars.
Car park small, they have a another car park for over flow but its very muddy.
The prices are a bit expensive for what it is:
Peak time - Adults £7.99 Off peak - £3.99. Children 3-16yrs peak time - £8.99 Off peak - £5.99
Children 2 years - peak time -£3.99 Off peak - £2.99. Under 2yrs is free. There are a few things you have to pay extra for which is a bit of a pain as its costs a bit to even get in.
The staff seem friendly but quite a few of them aren't the brightest sparks(sorry).
There are places to eat but they too are quite expensive, the food isn't the nicest either! So wasn't happy paying the prices they charged.
The actual place is kept clean and quite tidy, the lake is nice and the animals are well looked after.
There aren't many toilets for the amount of people, expect queues!
Was very muddy with it being march so make sure you wear wellies or similar footwear when visiting in the colder months.
It was an ok day out and we might go there again but I'm not in a hurry, there are better places too go that are a lot cheaper in the area.

This is a good local place for families to spend half a day at,with a mixture of animals, indoor and outdoor play areas, with some limited cafe facilities.
Biggest let down is the poor state of the access road which is a mixture of poor pot hole fillers, and soft verges. The car park is badly laid out and could do with a firmer base.
Knockhatch does not try to emulate its slicker rival at Drusillas, and this is reflected in the much cheaper prices. The shop and cafe have old carpeting which was dirty.Hopefully this will be refurbished by the peak season. We visited on a cold day in February, and I accept that things are probably being planned to improve the look and feel of the place,
Will definitely be coming back with our 6 year old, just hope the road can be invested in to make access a more enjoyable experience.

Knock Hatch has a great mix of animals, fun rides and indoor activities. What I liked best was the overall feel of the place. Laid back and friendly,it managed to entertain without being too commercial. Prices were all reasonable. Staff were very friendly and incredibly accommodating with younger children. The usual health and safety gone mad, jobs worth attitude you get in so many places happily has not found its way here yet. Despite freezing weather we had a great time . Tractor and trailor ride, hawk display, bouncy castle, demon drop slide. Loads of animals - it is possible to stroke a wallaby!

Recommended.

My boys 11 and 8 love knockhatch and believe it will even entertain my baby due soon too. Rare to find a day out to satisfy such an age difference. Nearly always find a discount coupon too.

I took my 6yr old grandson to Knockhatch in August 2012. We had a lovely time & he enjoyed himself immensely. Then food in Froggies was reasonably priced with reasonable choice. I did think that they shouldn't charge for Xtras as it made the day quite expensive as there were too many things that you had to pay xtra for

We have been to knockhatch a few times now and love the place. The sheer slide is fun for all - both kids and adults!!

A really good morning out. Prices are reasonable. There are a few things you need to pay extra for but as these aren't essential for your day out you can miss them out. The trailer ride was fun and the wallabies are adorable!

We have been members for nearly a year and visit Knockhatch about once a week. I have a 17month old and a 3 year old and they love coming. We enjoy the jumping pillows and seeing all of the animals. My 3 year old loves Froggies and I find a safe easy place to take both of the them as it is very secure and safe. We love the staff at Knockhatch as they are always very smiley and friendly! We will be renewing our membership next year!
