My two are teens and probably a bit old for knockhatch but I had a spare tesco voucher so we went anyway. We had a great time, animals were lovely, especially the rabbits. Car park was nearly full but once inside it didn't feel busy. I felt a little sorry for the staff member in the ice cream shop... He was rushed off his feet and had no support, however he was very polite and apologised for the delay. In fact all the staff were very polite. An enjoyable afternoon.

My family and I visited during our trip down south using Tesco vouchers to part-pay the cost--however even at full cash price this place is well worth the entry ticket.

We loved seeing and feeding the animals but the play areas really set this place apart for me. All of the areas were clean, well kept and the equipment was all in full working order.

The simulator ride was great fun as was the death slide--really unique elements to add to the more commonly found attractions. My kids both loved the jumping pillows however this would be the only area that we would feedback to the management for possible review.

At the time my daughter was on the larger of the two pillows, there were two or three adult males (early 20's) jumping around on them too. This would not normally be a problem but they were back flipping all over the place which is signposted as strictly forbidden. Unfortunately, as there are no attendants in place, no-one was around to stop them. At one point, one of them bounced too close to my daughter causing the pillow to dip sharply meaning she lost her balance and twisted her ankle rather painfully (we had to go home after this as she was unable to walk for the rest of the day). He most certainly regretted it after my "red-mist" dressing down of his activities (protective parent alert) but perhaps if this kind of adult larking around on what is essentially a kids' apparatus was more strictly checked then the incident would not have occurred in the first place.

We enjoyed the food and ice cream we ate there and thought the tractor play area/picnic area was a really fab place to eat.

Also my kids both loved the Quadopillar ride and the go-karts. There is so much to do here it can easily keep a family occupied for the full day.

We wouldn't hesitate to visit again if in the area and would recommend it to anyone.

Our trip to Knockhatch Adventure Park was a mixed aged funday out. The weather was perfect which was certainly a factor to the enjoyment experienced with enough activities to engage the whole group including adults. I was concerned that some of the middle teenagers would struggle to find enough things to keep them interested and boredom free for the amount of time we would spend there (6 hours) however there was enough variety of things to do which kept even the most demanding of young person involved. i was also pleased that that there were few age restrictions so that all ages could enjoy the same activity together on many of the acctractions Staff were helpful, prices were reasonable but might suggest a picnic is taken, plenty of space to enjoy your own food and places to buy coffee, ice cream and snacks. if you are looking for large thrill inducing stomach churning rides not the place for you but if you're looking for enjoyable day out with the family with enough space that it doesn't seem over crowded this may be a place you would enjoy not to far from Eastbourne.

My 2 year old and I visited today. It was the first time we'd been on an orange day when all attractions were open. What a great place. We watched the birds of prey display and the owl display and both were great to watch and facinating too. There is so much to do and well worth the entry price.

Great day out with my niece and nephew and even I learned some new things about the wide variety of animals they have , amazing birds and lots of things to interact with. Small warning the new run away mine train simulator was very good but not for children was very jumpy, maybe I'm just to old for it ! But was all an experience that made a fun day out for the whole family

Love coming to knockhatch on the cheap days as i have a 2 for 1 that i found on the internet so its nice to walk around and let my little boy run free but i wouldnt pay full price forit.. i think theres not enough animals and not enough to do to pay the full price. Food is nice although theres not much choice.. love the softplay area now its been updated and extended! Hate the fact theres wood chippings by the jumping pillows asit kills my little mans feet maybe get sand? Other than that its good for a few hours out ☺

Had a great day with my daughter, lots of things to see, it's impossible to do in only one day.
The welcome front staff I felt a bit "sleepy" and struggling to answers my questions, but in general she was very polite.
Walking around seeing all kind of animals ; signs to wash hands were visible and there was enough soap and paper towels to dry.
So glad about the toilets, as there were very tidy and clean, also plenty of toilet paper and soap available (comparing with Middle farm, quite a shame).
The eating area, as they call Bear's Den Burger Bar, was clean and tidy. The girl who served us was ( Mia- I think), very polite and attentive. We ordered just some chips and some scampi, were very good * see pictures.
I've been checking through website all farm in East Sussex to take my sister and nephew from Brazil to visit, however the costs would be spicy, some attractions you pay extra, as I know.
In general it was a great day out!
Be back in August! :)

Realy enjoyed our trip to Knockhatch. Plenty to see and do to entertain children (and adults) of all ages. We we with a 1 yr old and he really enjoyed the sandpit and playing in the soft play area. We ate in the soft play area and the food was above the standard you usually find at these places. We will return and look forward to our next adventure at Knockhatch

If you want loads to do from soft play, to parks slides and bouncy things then this place is great. The children love seeing all the animals and love all the petting and feeding.

Caters for all age groups, good food or just take a picnic, the staff and very friendly and the admission fee is very reasonable.

There are also extras... Rock climbing, laser type quest and a bungy harnessed trampoline

Loads and loads to do and get involved with, animals, falconry displays, water play, drop slides, indoor play even ice skating and a dry ski slope. Very good fun, could be a bit pricey as some of the activities are add on's once you get inside having already paid the entrance fee, some queueing during peak hours but very good fun and a thoroughly recommended day out

Had a great day out, there is lots to do and my children enjoyed it a lot. Most of the staff are friendly. Apart from two out of the three who work at the entrance/gift shop (only friendly one was one with the glasses). One at the cash desk at the entrance wouldn't accept out 2 4 1 ticket, even though we'd used one exactly the same recently before. No apology or explanation, just a take it or leave it attitude. Later in the gift shop that same girl was working in there and when asked the price of something she said 'how am I supposed to know that?'. The other surly girl at the till charged us nearly £30.00 for a few items which should have come to less than £10.00!. When we pointed it out, no apology, just lots of rolled eyes. We also heard the person behind us complaining about being over charged too. When sitting in the outside picnic area near the animals, one boy was being sick. His mother made no attempt to leave or clean up the mess, just carried on eating and talking to her friends. Next day my son came down with bad stomach bug, obviously caught from them.

Spent a day at Knockhatch. Had my teenage step daughter and friend with us. There was only a few things to keep them entertained and they was bored after that.
More geared towards the younger child.
Disappointed to find that after paying a expensive entry fee to find that you had to pay for extra things inside.

The bird display in main arena was good. But could hardly hear the women talking about the birds. Could have either done with turning up her microphone or putting more speakers around the arena. Or locating the arena in another part as it was near the bouncing pillows where the children was all screaming.

The critter talk. Total free for all and unorganised. The bloke really could of done with more help with controlling the kids that wanted to hold the insects and done with a microphone instead of talking loudly across excited kids.

Toilets was ok. But toilet doors could have really been better off opening inwards instead of opening outwards and possible avoided smacking somebody in the face as they was walking out.

Café looked clean and prices was reasonable but took a packed lunch with us.

Best part about the day was the rowing boats total hilarious and great fun.

Having visited previously, we booked a party for our 9 year old and 11 of her friends. Despite the damp weather, both children and parents found plenty to do from the 'ever scary' death drop slide to the exhilarating water runner, using up boundless energy on the giant jumping pillows before some active play in the adventure park.
We took out 5 boats with 3 people in each and the kids amused themselves by rowing round the islands in the lake, even spying some chicks at the waters edge - there was plenty of going round in circles and unusual rowing technique along with some getting wet but we had come prepared and as most of us parents grew up in the 70's, so getting muddy and wet in old clothes is part of being British. Something to be encouraged in our modern age of hand held technology and couch potatoes.
The animal displays are hands on where possible and informative.
Personally not so keen on indoor play areas generally but apart from the loud music, froggies new extended seating area is a useful respite from the wet and the pizza is tops. Good prices compared to a lot of larger theme parks.
Every member of staff we met was a credit to knockhatch, especially the helpful and polite pair down at the boating lake. This is a major asset.
Lots of the party guests parents had never been before but have all said they will be coming again and bringing back siblings. Several of the adults had a go on the water fluke and death drop slide, with one who has recently turned 50 saying it was the most exhilarated he had felt in as long as he could recall😀

Visited in half term took about 20 mins to queue to pay to get in . Thought would be manic inside but as the area so large it never felt that busy

So much to do for the children and good value for money and nice food will definitely be going back in the summer

My 2 grandchildren, Ben and Lilli went on the Animal Keeper Experience. Their tutor, also called Ben was brilliant. He was clearly dedicated and explained everything about the animals and how to look after them. It was truly a hands on experience. Back at school they had to give a talk about all the many things they had done in their holiday. Knockhatch beat the rest hands down.

I went with my partner and two daughters, aged 5 & 9. When you arrive, please bear in mind that the entrance few does it take in to account extra rides/experience. There are plenty of little farm animal, birds of prey etc. There is a great soft play area in doors, and a fantastic water slide which skims you access the surface of the water. A great day out.

We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren who were just recovering from chicken pox, we went on a green day which was really good value. The staff were charming especially the lady on the swing ride. The play areas were lovely and clean. We will be returning very soon. Many thanks to all your lovely staff.

A friend and I took our kids to knockhatch as we do regularly. The boys wanted to go on the zip wire but it was closed due to the weather. The boys were really disappointed and a member of staff "Ben" overheard this. Ben came over and asked if the boys would like to hold one of the snakes in the reptile centre. The boys were very excited. Ben then took us all round to meet the snake and he spent about 30 minutes with us letting the kids hold the snake and sharing all of his knowledge and information. He is clearly very knowledgable and answered all the kids questions. He clearly didnt have to so this for us but it was lovely that he did and we all really appreciated it! Great afternoon.

I took my young daughter here. It was a Green Day which means that not all the attractions are open, still enough to keep us busy for 2 - 3 hours. Check their web site before going for what is open, the good thing is that prices are reduced if not everything is open. Parking is easy in the large free car park next to the attraction. There are a few animals and birds to see and a pleasant walk around the grounds. The indoor soft play area is good and the ride on the quad bike train was great fun. There is a little cafe that we only got an ice cream from so can't comment on the food. The place was very clean and animals appeared to be well kept. It will appeal to a wide age range of kids and is worth a half day outing, perhaps longer if all attractions are operating. I think that the admission charges are fair for what is on offer.
