We have just celebrated our wedding at Gildredge Manor.<br>We can’t fault anything with this venue and the amazing people who gave us their all throughout the whole process.<br>Emma and Mark have been so lovely and helpful when we booked our wedding, came for a show around and also had to change dates due to the dreaded covid-19.<br>Our day was everything we had dreamed of and more, the decoration inside and out just made the whole place feel magical and had the exact theme we were going for.<br>Jackie hosted all day for our wedding and was absolutely incredible I honestly can’t thank her enough for making me feel so at ease and making the whole day run so smoothly. We had our wedding at Gildgredge Manor in May 2022 and it was absolutely fantastic! Right from our first call back in 2020, Mark and Emma were always so laid back it put us right at ease and the organisation was seamless. The venue is absolutely stunning and really needs to be seen to appreciate.<br><br>Jackie and team who ran the day knew exactly what they were doing and were able to make our day totally stress free. The pool table, table tennis table and football table were highly appreciated by all our guests. We highly recommend!

Our wedding took place here, May 30th 2022, what a wonderful day. From the moment we first booked the Manor, Emma and Mark were attentive, calm and supportive, even after we had to postpone twice during Covid. They communicated effectively throughout the whole process and the day itself was just perfect. Emma and Mark have an incredible team, who enabled us to relax and fully enjoy our day. Special mention goes to Jackie, who we found to be a fantastic wedding coordinator, guiding us through the day in a relaxing and professional manner. Also Max, who was the perfect bar person and host to all of our guests, ably supported by the rest of the team.<br>The Manor provides an ideal environment for young children and older guests alike, from running around the enclosed garden to playing table football and pool, every one of our guests had a brilliant day.<br>We highly recommend Gildredge Manor to anyone who is planning a wedding.

My nephew was married here this weekend, and I was so impressed with the venue and it's lovely staff, I had to leave a review.<br>The house has been lovingly and tastefully restored to an historic glory with modern touches, it's garden surrounded by park, so trees as far as the eye can see. A truly beautiful venue.<br>The wedding arrangements were executed with quiet efficiency, every need catered for without fuss. The day flowed without tension mainly because of the incredibly organised arrangements. The food was delicious, especially the Trio of Puddings which I could have quite happily repeated a number of times. But most of all, I was impressed with the staff, who were so gently attentive, accomodating every request with friendly ease.<br>I would recommend this venue to anyone without pause, as I'm so confident they will make your wedding a very special day indeed.

Gildredge Manor was, for us, the only venue of choice in Eastbourne as the BEST place to get married. Me and my wife married on the 21st March 2022 and the Gildredge team were absolutely perfect from start to finish on our big day.<br><br>The venue itself is gorgeous and filled with interesting rooms, all dripping with personality. The rooms are bright, clean and spaced well enough for guests to walk about and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling cramped.<br><br>The physical venue is only half of what makes this place so special, the other being the skilled, knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Each gave 100% about everything with our wedding and gave me a lot of confidence that everything would go smoothly.<br><br>The bride/bridesmaid had their own changing room and we were able to drop off the dress the night before and we could set up the day before too! So everything was very relaxed and they took us through the day step by step wonderfully.<br><br>Thank you so much Gildredge! We were lucky enough to have our wedding reception at Gildredge Manor in August 2021. Emma and Mark (and their team) were brilliant, making sure the day ran smoothly and providing an impressive level of calmness, meaning we could concentrate on enjoying ourselves as much as possible.<br><br>We received lots of feedback from guests that they loved the venue, whether it was the beautiful gardens, the character of the building or even the presence of a pool table!<br><br>Highly recommended.

We chose this venue for our wedding day in October 2021 and I could not have been happier! The house itself is beautiful; there are lots of different areas for guests to be entertained, to mingle and enjoy each other's company or to dance the night away. So much care and attention has gone in to the restoration of every room and the decor and furnishings are so perfect there is no need to further dress the venue or worry about small details. The staff went above and beyond to look after us and our guests all day, and I couldn't have felt more special. The management of every part of our day from the planning, to setting up, to looking after my bridal party whilst getting ready in the morning, pre and post ceremony support, the day's itinerary, the moving of guests from place to place, running the bar, gathering our various bits and pieces for collection the next day... was all superb. I cannot speak highly enough of Gildredge Manor and the engagement of Emma and Mark, leading up to and during our big day. We were helped to plan in small details which we never would have considered, such as being ushered away into a private room after the ceremony for some quiet time just the two of us to toast the commitment we had made, which were so important. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed with the organisation thanks to the kind support and attention of these total experts!<br>Every one of our guests has said such wonderful, unprompted things about our wedding and our venue.<br>The partnered caterers were also fantastic, so easy to contact, responsive to all and any questions and responsible for such amazing food which our guests again have remembered and commented on.<br>I don't know how much more I can say but I would wholeheartedly recommend Gildredge Manor and all of the team to anyone planning a wedding or event. It was the perfect day and I can't wait for my next opportunity revisit the Manor or host another party there!

On the 04.06 my husband & I were able to get married at this stunning & beautiful manor. We knew that this was the place for us from our first appointment. The service we have received from Emma & Mark is second to none, they were flexible, understanding & reassuring during times of doubt and upset of COVID over the past 18 months.<br><br>When it came to our day, the atmosphere set by Mark and Jackie was relaxed & they couldn’t do enough for you. They were great with the kids, made them feel like they were doing more towards the day.<br><br>I don’t think my husband & I could sing the praises of Mark & Emma (including their staff) more. This venue has it all & would be the perfect place for an event or wedding!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is definitely not the easiest, but Emma and Mark were there every step of the way and did a really great job at supporting and helping us to create our perfect day.<br>Our wedding day went smoother than i could have imagined, Mark was amazing and all the staff at the Manor were so helpful and polite- we could not have asked for a better venue. Thank-you all so much!

My partner & I attended a very special wedding here a week ago, it was amazing. The venue is beautifully styled and well laid out, the rooms and grounds are simply lovely. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, the staff who run it are completely professional friendly, kind and unobtrusive.<br>Definitely a top venue, if we marry again we know where to book :) Well done Gildredge. 10/10
