The pier was OK, but Eastborne wasn't great. The streets behind the seafront were in appauling condition, with broken, unsafe pavements that were impossible to push a wheelchair. Everywhere was full of drug addicts and drunks. We felt very unsafe.

We went for the amusements, fewer than Brighton pier and less choice. Good for families I guess.

Lovely pier from start to finish. A shame to see a couple of empty units, but sure with the right plan any business could be successful here.
Lovely pub at the end, sat and had a pint and was promptly cooked by this late summer sun. Fab afternoon.

Only disappointment, no cash machine in the end arcades and the tap readers on the change machines wouldn't accept any of my cards strangely..

Nice place to visit with family, there is parking by the beachfront that is paid but fair prices and free after 6pm. Must be careful as it is a pebble and stone beach not sand. Good food options (fish and chips, ice cream, donuts, gyros) and multiple arcades on the pier

Well kept pier, great views and a nice ice cream shop, as well as a fish & chip shop, it would have been nicer without the loud music played by the outdoor musican, who ruined the experience a bit as it was very loud.

Nice walk out on the pier. Great place to take pictures of the waterfront. Some interesting shops and places to eat. Would recommend the tea house on the pier. Great place to visit on a sunny day.

Classic English seaside. As a foreigner I find it unimaginative. I think that is why seaside towns are struggling. I know arcades are a English tradition, but it is really borrowing and a waste of money. The fish chippy on the corner was okay, but have had better.

Not busy during our visit, weekday mid August. Nice views of Eastbourne beach. The pier has range of facilities, amusements for kids and tea rooms for the big kids!
