We had a lovely walk this afternoon along Eastbourne Pier. We can see it's all getting ready for the Spring/ Summer season. Fortunately the sun was shining & it was a pleasant afternoon.

Fabulous pier, currently being updated. Went into the tearoom for a much needed warm drink on a very cold and windy day, very friendly staff.

First time visit to this pier. It looks similar to the one in Brighton. It was quite quiet and feel empty. Couple of shops are for rent. The view from the pier back to the coast line is spectacular.<br><br>We had fish and chip from the the shop at the entrance to the pier. The taste was ok. But not worth with the money you paid, because the size of the fish was quite small.

Clean, well presented and you can tell it has a future. That being said many empty units which hopefully will contain shops in the coming years

Since the pier was taken over work has been steadily progressing & looking very nice, the gold domes glistening in the sunshine. Once the final additional buildings are up & running it will be back to one of the towns biggest tourist attractions.

Difficult to judge as it was locked shut for Storm Eunice, understandably! Looks good though!

Always great ! A bit grotty in parts due to no upgrades but always worth a punt. Plus,nothing better than a bar over water.

Lovely pier Some building works going on when we visited but none of this impeded us getting full access Lovely doughnuts at the entrance and a very Olde World tearoom halfway down lovely cuppa

Looked good but we could not walk on it as we had our dog with us.
We did manage to get cod and chips from the chippy at the start of the pier which were yummy.

Pier in excellent order. Everything on the Pier was maintained clean and nicely painted. I look forward to returning in the Spring.

A warm winters day visit to Eastbourne and to see such an iconic Pier looking beautiful in the morning winter sun, the splendor of this view made me feel honoured to be here, I walked upon the wooden beams as far as I could go taking in the stunning picturesque sea views and pier end building, such a shame there is no theatre here anymore but it's still an amazing sight to see

Bitterly cold day but we nevertheless opted to walk along the pier with family who live in Eastbourne (first time in Eastbourne for my partner and myself) and it was just wonderful. Pier looks in pretty good condition although refurbishment is taking place which will undoubtedly add to its appeal.
Amusement arcade gave us a little respite from the wind but the walk itself was bracing and very enjoyable.
And all this for FREE - what more could you want?

I love the pier, been going every year my whole life. I'm glad it was restored after the fire but I feel like it's just so much more bland now than it used to be.

Not really much going on at the pier, there's a good few units empty, the amusements at the end of the pier was open but incredibly busy so we decided against going in.<br>The Chippy at the beginning was open as was the ice-cream parlour.

Looks a good place to visit but can't comment much as we paid a visit out of season and building work was being undertaken and very little was open. Great view from the end though.
