A nice place to work and lots of little shops. Shame they close the shops so early (4pm) but guess they stay open longer in the summer. Great view of the beach from the end

Great, great night. Epic. There was pink moon . No wind. Mild temperature. I did not feel being in England. Magic, magic, magic.

Good arcade for the kids, lovely little souvenir shops and places for a pint or cup of tea. Doughnuts and ice cream on the way into the pier.

traditional seaside pier. Some building work being carried out but all shops and tea rooms available. Had lunch in the victorian tea room very good menu choice.

Not too much of beach as it is full of pebbles and then steep edges so you cant play in water either.

We visited the pier on a Sunday and had a lovely time sitting on the benches outside and also going into the arcade areas.

Inside the main arcade there was a really long line for the only working 2p change machine, and quite a few of the machines and games weren't working, but we still had a great time and won lots of tickets (our total spend was £14) which we exchanged in the ticket shop for some fun toys and sweets.

Staff were really helpful even though it was really busy.

Avoid the "Crazy Glider" machine if your child is looking for an adrenaline rush - it was incredibly boring as it just went up very very slowly, jiggled around a tiny bit, came down, repeated, and that was it.

In the first small arcade you come to there's a machine where you can fish for tickets - most of the bundles only have 10 tickets each so not at all good value - avoid!

Overall had fun - would return.

Lovely old pier. A bit blowy on one side. £3.00 for a small americano in the Victorian tea rooms cafe a bit steep I thought
