After having been on fire, they have done a good job of restoring the pier. Looks like new facilities will be fully open soon

It's being done up! It has its wonderful trade mark gold touches such as lions and turrets. The amusements have been moved and had more than enough to keep a happy 8 year old happy. There are shops to come. Plenty of seating, the traditional designs haven't been lost. Music, lots of outdoor seating for relaxing for a while. The usual sorts of food on offer. A pier without the manic but fun fair of Brighton. Eastbourne has it's own pretty traditional charm. Look forward to seeing the rest of the updates.

Classic seaside pier. Good views of the seafront, and the usual entertainments. Wish they hadn't repainted the domes and cast iron decorations in gaudy gold. Tacky. Otherwise worth a visit.

Liked the Victorian tea room. Very pleasant and reasonably priced menu. The amusements are not as good as they used to be. Not much choice all pretty much the same. Not very amusing.

Getting back to the way it was, arcades could do with a bit of upgrading, maybe an adult machine section like there used to be would be nice, don't want to play for pointless tickets all the time. Some nice little shops on there and the tea rooms, so definitely worth a walk down if you're in Eastbourne

My adopted home town, I moved here with my parents when I was fifteen, and have been here ever since. There's a pebbly beach, and the south downs on the western end.

I did not visit the pier itself but I visited the pop up market on the 5/6/22, along the Eastbourne Seafront.
It was fabulous! Many different stalls with tons of varying goods to buy! There was even a "fly over" by 6 helicopters!
I loved the hustle and bustle of it all, as there was a lovely vibe shared by stall holders and visitors.
I purposely put just £20 in my purse to spend, but forgot to leave my credit card at home.(A Whoopsy)
I bought some delicious food, including home made fudge, and also a cool pair of Genie trousers and then, then, I found the ring..,(my precious)
A Solid Silver Moonstone ring, with amazing natural light.
It was far too expensive, far too much money...but it slid on my finger, as the glass slipper fitted Cinderella foot!
Clearly a sign from the God's, that this ring was for me. (Sod the Prince! I got Bling!)
I returned home feeling stuffed with great food, and this feeling was heightened when the trousers fitted and the ring gleamed! I'm so pleased I braved the crowds! Also I am Soo attending the next market.

Needs a lot of tender loving care! not much open, could be a gold mine. Ice creams at 1 scope for £2.80 a bit expensive.

Posto carino per una passeggiata, qualche foto e mangiare o bere qualcosa. Non manca nulla: pub, dolci, sala giochi e un greco buonissimo.

This town is very pretty but it seems to be populated mostly only by old people, all in all we had a good time, nice place, nice people and nice atmosphere.

A small pier with less to do than many others, but very well kept and less tacky with it. The restaurant at the end is a stunning building, particularly on the inside and it looked liked the food was made to match!

Eastbourne Pier or Sheikh pier is in the beautiful place of Eastbourne. This place has a lot of cafes, restaurant, eateries as well as amusement games centre. This pier is quite beautiful like the Brighton one. The shops are not that much cause less number of visitors visit this place. I really liked the quiet and peaceful pier. Just few people and seagulls and you have plenty of time to sit and relax.
