Had donuts at the entrance of the pier which wasn't very clearly marked, needs to be on the window. Pier looks tired and need TLC. Great views from the pier of Eastbourne. Dogs not allowed (who makes these decisions) and that will probably mean less business and a further deterioration of this once lovely pier.

Really enjoyed our time on the pier great views of the coast good arcades really enjoyed the Victorian tea room found it very clean and well maintained

Eastbourne is the perfect seaside escape..<br>Also,Eastbourne is easy on the eye with wide open sea views which catch both sunrises and sunsets..The UK's best views and hikes are within striking distance too.

Lovely great atmosphere. Just had to wait about 45 minutes for sausage and chips and 1.50 for 1 pickled onion at the one at the entrance.

What a lovely pier.... I thought!<br>Would have been nice to visit it again as I see that it has had some work done on it.<br>.... From the beach, I noticed as there are lots....and lots of signs stating dogs are not welcome so we were unable to get on the pier.<br>I did notice however that screaming kids and drunken yobs are allowed on the pier. And guide dogs which would do the same leaving there dog stuff as any other dogs but most owners are responsible.<br>Most dogs are better behaved than most children!<br>We have been to lots of seaside towns and have not been able to walk out dogs along the pier.<br>Would put me off visiting Eastbourne.<br>Maybe Hastings next time

Great fun when you have a little time to spare. The ticket redemption booth if the arcade was closed so the excitement of winning a Jackpot quickly faded. The staff I approached didn't care so unfortunately I just had to give them away. Not sure I'd waste my time at the arcade again. Outside of that the view from the pier was beautiful and there are great shops and a pub
