We visited the pier for the first time since the fire and it looks great. I like the golden dome etc and all the usual shops, arcades etc are to be found here.

We stayed at the Queens Hotel opposite to the Pier and this was our first visit to Eastbourne. The Pier is kept so neat and tidy with plenty of seating available for all and a good selection of shops/restaurant's. The fish and chips smelt devine but we headed off for afternoon tea (see review).

I think for someone born and bred in the U.K. a pier isn't anything special for most at least, it needs something to bring it alive. Not for people that haven't grown up with piers or in the U.K. (myself included) than this pier would be a lovely walk. It offers many great opportunities for pictures. It's nice that the pier is well cared for, everything has a new coat of paint and all the floorboards are in good condition. I personally liked how they left the lamps near where the fire occurred and they are melted from the heat, not sure if this was intentional. The Victorian tea room has lovely food and a great atmosphere. I think this pier has great potential and you could make it a go to spot with some planning. I'm sure building restrictions play a role in this but hopefully one day this pier will be redeveloped and be bustling once again. Worth a walk especially if you've not experienced a pier before.

Pier has had a spruce up and look good. Not much to see but a nice free walk. Could do with more attractions. Drinks expensive.

We walked on the pier at night during our weekend visit and a walk again during the next day to get some pictures. Access to the pier is free and the pier gives you a great view of the shore and establishments along the sea front of Eastbourne. Recommend the Victorian tea rooms on the pier

I stayed in a hotel near the pier and I haven't been on the pier for many years went to all the amusements and wanted my partner to win me a teddy but none of the machines were working pretty much a con 👎 but I do still love the pier as you can't beat it just wish the facilities were working to a better standard.

It's a pier a few amusements. Lovely to walk down. Visit to the glass blowing studio is always worth it.

Been on this pier most of my life and seen many changes. Was once one of my favourite attractions and still is, but from a tragic fire a few years ago has lost half of what it was. Has a night club, bar, shops, glass maker, fish and chips, and a tea room. Where the fire was, is now just a big open space with picnic tables. Now owned by Sheiks who has hotels in Eastbourne seafront and loves his gold paint which he has painted parts of the pier with. ! . I still walk up and down this pier and is still an attraction and worth a visit. I await if the new owner will add to this pier in the future.

This is a clean and well kept pier, definitely worth a look if going to Eastbourne. My only one complaint is that it isn't dog friendly so can't go here when we have the dog with us. Many piers in this country are dog friendly so seems strange why this one isn't.

I really love the way the Sheik has restored this Pier. It's a great walk after Sunday lunch and I feel much safer now that I can't see the Sea swirling and Lapping away beneath me.
The tearoom is pretty.

A really lovely little pier. Lots of fun on two pence machines lol. Nice tea room. It was a wild windy but sunny day still enjoyed it 😊😊

The pier is just like most seaside piers; souvenir shops; fairground rides and a long walk. It has recently been bought by a Sheik who "loves everything coloured gold" so there is much gold paint on it.

Over a weekend we decided to treat ourselves and have a high tea in the most fantastic looking facility you could ever wish for, the Candelabras are well worth the visit by themselves.
The food, the service and the care of detail is faultless and you are well spoilt for choice on what to have and it is reasonably priced.
Even the 4 year old grandson was well full when we left.
Put it on your bucket list.

We visited in Feb, weather was not so great (about 3 degrees). The pier has wonderful views and a nice chippy at the start. Most of the small cafes were closed and due to open in the summmer. Would recommend coming back in the summer were lots of attractions would be open.

We stayed just across from this pier and walked on it a few times while we were there, there is a café on it and a few little shops and a bar but we didn't go in there. There is a little gift shop I bought fridge magnets, pens ,all reasonably priced. It is a well kept pier and worth a visit.
