This is a clean and well kept pier, definitely worth a look if going to Eastbourne. My only one complaint is that it isn't dog friendly so can't go here when we have the dog with us. Many piers in this country are dog friendly so seems strange why this one isn't.

I really love the way the Sheik has restored this Pier. It's a great walk after Sunday lunch and I feel much safer now that I can't see the Sea swirling and Lapping away beneath me.
The tearoom is pretty.
I love the paint!!
Come and visit Sheiks Pier πŸ–

A really lovely little pier. Lots of fun on two pence machines lol. Nice tea room. It was a wild windy but sunny day still enjoyed it 😊😊

The pier is just like most seaside piers; souvenir shops; fairground rides and a long walk. It has recently been bought by a Sheik who "loves everything coloured gold" so there is much gold paint on it.

Clean but not a lot to do on it shame , only thing you could do is play on the 2p machine , the cafe was busy with family

Over a weekend we decided to treat ourselves and have a high tea in the most fantastic looking facility you could ever wish for, the Candelabras are well worth the visit by themselves.
The food, the service and the care of detail is faultless and you are well spoilt for choice on what to have and it is reasonably priced.
Even the 4 year old grandson was well full when we left.
Put it on your bucket list.

We visited in Feb, weather was not so great (about 3 degrees). The pier has wonderful views and a nice chippy at the start. Most of the small cafes were closed and due to open in the summmer. Would recommend coming back in the summer were lots of attractions would be open.

Went in February so not warm enough to stay on for long. Usual cafes attractions for a pier. Lovely views of Eastbourne coastline.

We stayed just across from this pier and walked on it a few times while we were there, there is a cafΓ© on it and a few little shops and a bar but we didn't go in there. There is a little gift shop I bought fridge magnets, pens ,all reasonably priced. It is a well kept pier and worth a visit.

The pier is well worth a stroll along if you are in Eastbourne, all the usual pier activities are present and correct along with a wonderful tea room and a superb fish and chip shop. Even the gulls wait politely while you eat your chips ( I know it's wrong but I did save him a chip as he was so patient, sorry)

We went in Feb, so there may be more on in the summer, but there wasn't much on the pier. We enjoyed the arcades, though they were a bit dated and cramped - not very wheelchair or pram accessible, I would guess. Still, lovely views, very clean and looked after itself.

We visited this pier every day of the three day visit to take in the views and to use the tea room. On a couple of occasions it was very windy but we felt safe. Most of the facilities were closed apart from the tea room and a chip kiosk but the pier still had a steady stream of visitors. The pier was also very clean and tidy with what appeared to be security staff on hand. I would visit again.

Nice for leisurely stroll over the sea but not a lot to do. A few small shops and a couple of places to eat. Not as Grand as Brighton Pier but very pleasant none the less.

This lovely pier is in great repair, full of 60s charm , amusement arcade and funfair, as well as just a good stroll to the end for the views back to Eastbourne. And it's free.

Had to walk on the pier as it's the done thing but it was pier - what more is there to say. Some shops, gaming machines and cafes - it was very cold so we didn't linger too long.

Nice victorian pier with a lovely view on the coast and cliffs too. Just looks like some golden parts were placed there by mistake ;)

Visited on a beautiful sunny but cold day in January with my daughter's young family. The pier is a delight. Clean, well preserved and an ideal place to visit. Being born in Blackpool which still has 3 Victorian piers I do appreciate the beauty and wonder of these structures. Free to access a truly lovely place to visit. They even have 2p slot machines for the kids!!! Amazing!

We arrived late Fri night we can see the pier from our hotel room.
We decided to take a stroll down the pier it looked like a long walk but was surprised as it didn't take that long. There was a victorian tea rooms,a gift shop and also a small arcade about half way down to break up the stroll.
Def cleaned the cobwebs away and the views are amazing from the pier to.
