It was early in the year. Railings at the end were cordoned off and hopefully been replaced now. There's not much on it.

Walked down the pier on a late afternoon and impressed with it as it seems to have been improved and being refurbished. Looked really clean and loved the glass shop. Was totally impressed by the no chewing gum sign outside the night club. Also a lovely restaurant/café.

Even in February it's worth a visit. You can get drinks etc and a nice leg stretch. There are a variety of shops etc. I expect there will be more attractions in the summer.

It's always worth a stroll around Eastbourne Pier just because it's there. Enjoy a cream tea in the Victorian Cafe too.

Very nice little pier on the seafront at Eastbourne, it has been renovated after a fire several years ago, good victorian fittings a nice long walk viewing the sea and the old seafront at Eastbourne front. Little shops amusements along the pier - places to sit and eat or chill

We looked forward to visiting the Pier. It was cold, wet February weather so very quiet. The Pier had large signs stating no dogs allowed? What a shame. We have not had difficulties walking on the Piers in our area. It was a spoiler if you have the family dog with you.

I visited Eastbourne Pier many years ago and felt it was a shame that it was quite shabby and run down compared to Brighton Pier. Having visited again recently I was pleasantly surprised by the massive improvements that have been made. There is a beautiful tea-room with HUGE Victorian chandeliers, prefect for afternoon tea. There are a few gift shops and amusements for the children and lots of picnic benches for the summer. The owner of the pier, Sheikh Gulzar has recently opened a bar/nightclub on the pier, and the decor is very cool and relaxed. There is also a large function room for weddings/parties at the end of the pier, which has stunning panoramic views over the sea, and a beautiful champagne bar.
It is so lovely to see the massive improvements and investment that has been put into the pier, I am very much looking forward to a return visit!

Pier is well maintained at no charge. We had great therapeutic walk to the end of pier and back. Sun Sparkling on the water.
You can sit and have coffee in the tea rooms. Obviously shore views and sound ,smell of the sea is a therapy the Victorian's experience, you can chill for hours in your thoughts.

Gifty shops were pretty. We bought souvenir Eastbourne rock.

It's a must for a weekend visit.

Lovely pier, very traditionnal, and nice atmosphere. It was very calm because I was there in February but I did love it. Nice view on the sea, and have a tea brake on the pier.
Don't forget to stop and see moktar and ask for your future.

Stayed in Eastbourne very near to the Pier.
Weather was good so thought we would have a look.
Bit disappointed but might have been because of the time of year as most things were closed. Did pop into the Tea Room and that was very good.

Delightful, well painted and really charming. I didn't have one, but I heard the cream ties on the pier are amazing!

We strolled along the pier with the baby in the pram.
There is a very interesting looking Victorian tea room, which we did not have time to enjoy.
The very small selection of arcade games were good fun for a few minutes.
We then stopped in the bar on the end for a quick drink, but there was very limited choice.

On a wet and windy day we promenaded along this Victorian piece of history. A lot of thought had gone into its rejuvenation with plaques of facts on its history as you stroll along. Along the Pier are two places to relax and eat. The Victorian tearoom is magnificent with its well set tables but this is dwarfed by the light shade in the centre of the room. Just amazing. At the end of the Pier is another establishment to eat which is of the 1950s theme. Two completely different places within minutes of each other. A lot of history in the wooden boards underfoot, half derelict planks where boats would have moored and the view of the magnificent houses along the seafront. A must to while away a couple of hours.

Free entrance to walk along the pier. Nice tea room, reasonably priced tea and coffee. Arcades. Plenty or seating.

Nice place to visit. Sadly half of the pier suffered a fire back in 2014.

The pier does not have a lot you can do, but we found a gem of a place at the end of the pier: it's a jazz club but was open late afternoon when we arrived and we found it served good coffee. Great retro ambiance too. What a find !

A nice pier. Peaceful to sit at the end and look out over the sea. Was nice that the arcades and shops where not in your face.
