This was our first visit back to the pier since the fire and it has been transformed. There are gold lion statues erected along the pier promenade and there are the usual gift shops, amusement arcades and tea room. The pier has well and truly been brought back from the ashes.

A nice stroll down the pier in the sun eating our ice cream. A couple of small shops, a nice tea room. There was terrible loud music coming from the function room at the end of the pier. Spoilt a nice walk in the sun. Lovely views of the ocean and the Eastbourne beach front.

The pier has been well restored after a series of mishaps,it provides a nice walk and there are a couple of interesting little shops. There is also a pub,a nightclub and a couple of restaurants,i haven't visited those. The pub is pleasant with some good local beers and food service.I haven't tried the food.

Traditional seside pier in excellent condition. Very well kept and worth the walk to the end just for the views but there are also shops and a cafe.

Visited as the last attraction one of my long day on my holiday. It was a nice walk to the pier on the seaside from Fishermens' green car park and then back. wide and long pier, however for me was a bit crowded despite of the evening hours around 6pm or so. This is probably because of the lots of shops and cafe/tea-room/restaurant, which look a bit funfair type, also the different musics we can hear from different places here is a bit confused. I prefer less crowded places, but it was a nice walk to get there and walk around, though I could not find a hidden bench where is peace and calm.
Lots to eat/drink/shop and lot of tourists.

Eastbourne pier ou jetée à deux pas du centre ville. Très jolie et animée. C est la jetée que je préfère dans tout le sud de l'Angleterre.

Great to see a well maintained and active pier; we have lost too many of them over the years. Wide walk-ways, fresh paint, interesting shops and arcades. Good bar and other refreshment places. Jolly without being brash. Thankfully no over-amplified tinny tannoy to distract from the sounds of the sea !

I love a pier but they are much of a muchness, usual shops, cafe's, arcade machines and at the end a bar/restaurant. Pier itself is in good condition and is one of those must do things at any coastal town that still has one.
