Eastbourne pier ou jetée à deux pas du centre ville. Très jolie et animée. C est la jetée que je préfère dans tout le sud de l'Angleterre.

Went on a Bank Holiday but didn't want to go anywhere too crowded. Great stalls by the seafront

Great to see a well maintained and active pier; we have lost too many of them over the years. Wide walk-ways, fresh paint, interesting shops and arcades. Good bar and other refreshment places. Jolly without being brash. Thankfully no over-amplified tinny tannoy to distract from the sounds of the sea !

I love a pier but they are much of a muchness, usual shops, cafe's, arcade machines and at the end a bar/restaurant. Pier itself is in good condition and is one of those must do things at any coastal town that still has one.

Looking better than it was before. Nice to go and visit with family that have young kids. I watched the planes from airbourne here. Lovely views. Glad to see someone is trying to help improve our town.

Fantastic place to spend an hour or two , piers are gradually disappearing around our coastline and we need to patronise them if they are not all to vanish . Don't miss afternoon tea at the tea rooms wonderful .

We've just returned from our second visit to Eastbourne but our first visit to the pier. The sight of the very attractive golden pier is unusual. The spacious walkway is unusual. It is only by reading reviews on my return that I find why there is lots of space, and why it is golden and the story behind the rebuild. At first I wasn't sure of the pier but now I wish I had learned more about it while I was there. Also, on our first day I glanced at the cafe but didn't go in as I thought it wasn't for me. How wrong could I have been, on the last day I walked through it and saw how elegant it was and what excellent cakes/food was available. I can only recommend that visitors do enter in, and not make my mistake.

Nice pier to pay a visit and have excellent views over the oceaan and the cityside. Some shops at the pier and a fish&chips store; tearoom and bar/restaurant. It stil loods ok as it is quite old. Free entrance

Always a lovely walk. Nice atmosphere. Nice and clean. Lovely views. The pub often has music playing while you relax outside with a lovely beverage.

A well looked after pier, clean lots of places to sit, no funfair a few shops a nice tea room.
One area which did concern me was that some of the railings looked as though a small child could get through them.

Have to say theres not that much to do anymore but still nice views to be seen, such a shame about the fire a few years ago. Clean and tidy, also good to see the glass blowing is still going after all this time.

The pier is lovely but there are rather a lot of 'do not' notices. Still at least you still don't have to pay and it can be a bracing walk, or sunny depending on the weather.

A bit noisy but always fun to walk around a pier there is not much to do but you could take elderly relatives for ☕️ and easy to push a wheelchair round. Fresh air and sunshine- what's not to enjoy!
