We always visit the pier.... Lovely walk around. And you can see Eastbourne front from the pier which is a lovely look at the sea front.. There is a tea room on the pier which isnt as good as it use to be. But its still pleasant..

Great place to have a walk and view of Eastbourne. There are a few shops selling cheap trinkets which adds to the seaside feel. The cafe Victorian Teas Rooms best avoided until they can make a decent cup of coffee. The building at the end can be hired for parties and events.

I first visited the pier almost 30 years ago when I moved to
Eastbourne for work & there have been many changes

The large noisy arcade has gone and with it all the negatives
that tthey attract

The are smaller 2p amusements for young children & these
appear to be much better

The Pier has a tea / coffee shop a bar a night club & even fish
& chips & gift shops but the best thing is the wide open space
which is a great selling point & I'm sure would be exploited in
the Summer Months . In the winter months though it can be very
cold & windy

The Pier is in good condition & is now probably a more traditional
attraction having lost the huge arcade in short a great place for a
family to spend an hour or so

Beautiful place with large sitting area outside - you can just sit there (without need to buy anything) and watch amazing scenarios. Great place.
